  4. neal,no fear of this mutt going under a bush, lol hes showing lately just how tough he is,nothing deters him from swiming, hes nuts for the water.bird the water was white from being whipped into a froth from the wind,it was really really cold yesterday morn but it didnt take a shake out of him.my kelpie x is a hardy individual in her own way but she was tucked into my legs and it was very evident they were not enjoying the experience so we turned around after walking for an hour.I never saw the 2 runing dogs to jump into the van so fast, but not the shepherd,he was still doing laps around the gra

  14. was out on a spot last saturday, invited for a stroll about.i had finished the hunting 5 weeks ago and decided to have a wander with my mate.Well after a walk,up got a hare and off went the dog and after a right lung burster he came back and was not looking good.i checked him over and he had a bit of a hole inhis gut so that was that.short and sweet, walked cancelled and back to the van.when i opened the van dog was unable to stand so I carried him in home and laid him out on the floor.Got a mate that runs greyhounds to check him over and he has a broken rib and has acidosis(lactid acid). For the

  18. the deerhound x's ive seen are all hunting well at 12-14 months and by 15-17 months are capable of anything.some went a bit sooner than that.im crossing my sal/greyhound with a 1st x d/hx g/h later on this year.shes shown shes determined and gutsy and very fast, shes only taken rabbit and hare at the moment but thats due to the owner rather than the dog.I have no doubt she will do anything asked of her.theres not that many bred too often that i know of but worth waiting for if your after one
