  1. ive got a whippet/colliexgrey,14 month now and coming on great,shockingly clever,very fast,and a great companion,picks up the rabbits on the lamp.ive had her on rats, retrieving shot squirrels and she has now been joining me and my newly accuired ferrets, heres some

  3. hi everyone,i have seperated my two hobs (there brothers) as the less dominant one has scabs on his back,from getting by the dominant one,he is ok but i just wanted too let his sores heal,as all the time the're fighting it will be aggitated,my question is ,once healed and i place him back in with the other will i have a problem i.e will they think there strangers and fight aggresivley or will they remember eachother, cheers rich also heres a pic of the scab, i am thinking this is from scraping as the dominant hob has none ,is this familliar with any of you, if so is it due to fighting?

  7. hi all, just a pic of my first ferreting trip,it was great, i netted up 10 holes sorounding a burrow my dog was sniffing around, sat down with my girlfriend and tryed my hardest to put the collar on one of my ferrets ,eventually slipping him under the net down the middle burrow,thinking hope that collar stays on,anyway stayed quiet then out his head poped from a burrow, minus a collar,of he went down again,oh well ill dig later for collar, i thought,then looked to my left,got one!,dispatched the rabbit and grabbed the ferret,poped him in his box,well pleased,now wheres that collar?. turned th

  14. i had the same problem with my pup,just keep recall training,and lamp off call back, lots of praise, it should soon click,never illuminate another rabbit after a miss, hope it works out

  16. also, is it ok too feed some raw lamb heart in small amounts as have loads in the freezer
  17. hi all, i posted last week asking for advice on breaking my 13month lurcher too the ferrets which i now have,after reading your replies i have taken the advice and am doing really well,its only early but she seems to be doing good,heres a couple pics of them shareing a bowl of milk together,thank you all, p.s i am handling them every day but they still sometimes try and nip me,will this habbit pass, or do i have nasty blighters?

  20. hi everyone, i am due too pick up two hobs on wendsday,wonderd if anyone could explain how i would break my lurcher 13month,i also have a jrt of 10 week so he should be easier but its my lurcher im worring about,anyone help with the routine too dogs too ferrets many thanks rich
