  12. hi all, lovely weather down here,so decided too go too a new permission of mine, arrived with the missus, my bitch 2 jills and me trusty hob, laid say 20 nets after what i took for a mark from my dog,and decided too put one of my jills down, she never worked before and turned out she is probably still too young,so out with my hob, collared him up and down he went, about 1 min first rabbit, dog was strait on it,then just as i dealt with him dog went flying over too a hole, all i could see was the peg in the ground and the net down the hole,my other half tryed pulling it out,but my dog was strait
  13. sorted the collar now,the problem was that i was running the magnet accross the dot, not the part where the strap runs through, doh!! Just another question, im off ferreting on a new permmision tommorow, my jills are 6 month approx and i would like to give them a go now,do you think they are too young or is this ok? also my two hobs have never met my jills ,if i was to collar up one hob ,and one jill will they be ok too put down together or could this be a problem(jills are not in season) stubby, you seem too know your stuff, is this ok? cheers richard,
  14. if you look at your jills now, hopefully both their anus and vulva will be flat to the skin, when the jills come into season, the vulva starts increasing in size, although you may get other signs (mine start getting nippy) the swollen vulva is easy to spot, make sure that a snipped hobs is kept seperately for a good couple of months after the operation, as although snipped, he wont be firing blanks straight away, so if, put straight back with jills, could potentianly father a litter of kitts cheers mate
  15. just a couple questions,if you can help i have just brought my second ferret collar which is the mk 3m just wondering if anyone had a problem with the opperation of it,i put batteries in and twisted it back together and used the little magnet to turn it on,to no avail, i un twisted it and back again and it was now on, being picked up by the box along with my original collar,ok ,i turned of the original one, then procceded to turn off the mk3m.... still on,? basically how the hell does this magnet thingy work,i also lined up the box and that diddnt turn it off either,i followed procedure, the m
