    Spent the day with a really cool redneck,big into bowhunting,invited me back to hunt his two farms,I must have seen maybe two hundred deer today,the area is packed with them,they are everywhere.

    Could be worse mate,they could all have easy access to guns,you can get a pistol out here for $200 on the street,I saw a sign on the freeway that the biggest killer of teenagers stateside is guns.

    I know a few people over here with decent sized farms,including a lady in the appalachians,it wouldn't be difficult to get permission,but there's so much public land it's unreal.

    On an old friends farm tomorrow having a walk around way off the beaten track,he said he sees deer daily,there's an archery store in town,will have a look in see what they stock.

    Must have seen over a hundred elk today strung out along a valley bottom,and maybe 25 whitetail along the road.
