Borneo is basically a pinoy restaurant, the staff were from zambo and I ordered a coffee in chavacano which surprised them, they took me into the kitchen and introduced me to the chef as he was also from zamboanga, can't remember his name though. The restaurant has had some bad luck the past few years, burnt down, rebuilt and renovated then a car was driven through the front ?

I have been to a place like that, Calauit an island just off palawan, giraffe zebra and antelope roam around, the island was sequestered back in the 1970's by president marcos (the current presidents dad) as a private hunting reserve, all the inhabitants were kicked off and it was just used for Marcos and his mates hunts.
