  1. Thats totally different they were sent there for whatever reason by the goverment so therfore a rescue would be justified as is any war scenario.
  2. Yes but no chance of that is it. hand on heart i would say the same if was a family member.
  3. British mercenaries in the past who found themselfs in sticky situations on foreign lands knew they were on there own with no help from our goverment. Know there is a difference between soldiers and the god squad but some of you seem to think cause they are Brits we should help them. They are well aware of the dangers before they set foot in the region and imo they made that choice and ignored the warnings and advice not to go. So i dont really have any sympathy for them. They themselfs created the problem and must have knew tge risk involved. No one ordered them to go there, and cer
  4. Not saying mountain rescue dont get killed on the odd occasion and tbh they actually like the training as is written on there web site on ben nevis. However mountain rescue dont normally get fired at by RPGs or small arms in a rescue attempt. Also correct me if wrong but i dont think socks did say that.
  5. Colonel falkoner would get them out wilf lol
  6. Oh that's no so good. I bought a few during the summer. See they got some good wunter ones in other day. Circular fat ball one holds about 12 balls lol
  7. Poundstretcher do a huge selection of feed for wild bird. Good feeders aswell.
  8. Good tip greyman ill try soaking them. when i come home from fishing i always bring the unused maggots back for the birds. robins love them. speaking of robins they are vicious wee buggers if any other birds dare to encroach on there patch lol
  9. Big difference between being rescued off a mountain and going into a war zone or an unstable region when there is warnings there a good chance of being abducted kilked or used as pawns. Want to do good things well there plenty unfortunate souls here the homeless to name one. No need to go put yourself and others in harms way to do a good deed. reminds me of the drunken missionary from the movie zulu. Went to help them and got a spear in the chest lol
  10. Greens reward for helping the snp get a majority
  11. Do any of you lads see bull finches round you're way!
  12. Movie on film 4 tonight "Parkland" about the shooting and the zebrugge film. Watched it years ago wasnt bad
  13. Well you are yet again wrong. Done and do plenty for family friends and even complete strangers. However i wouldn't put my life on the line or more importantly others for my disregard for common sense. But by all means get yourself off to syria or some other war torn country and help them out. You dont come across very charitable when you bad mouthing these poor refugees who flee these war zones.
  14. They do resemble just empty husks to be honest mate lol might forgo them from now on. The stuckies just demolish them in minutes anyway
  15. You say courage. I would argue gross stupidity
  16. Yea fed them for years. Get goldies, yellow hammers. Chaffinches robins and all the other usual suspects. Had to move my feeders other month. A Cat got into the habit on the other side of fence and snatching birds. Even like the pigeons visiting as they are like cleaners at the bottom of the feeders lol i get that no mess seed aswell. Bit dearer but less weeds. I go through bags of those meal worms and fat balls. tell you one bird i haven't seen in years is bull finches. As a kid saw them all time. must be un decline. @peter see you get you're feed from poundies too lol
  17. Wont condemn it but i do think these people are very irresponsible they seem to think its ok for them to go into war ravaged/dangerous areas. Then others have to run risks in rescue attempts. or criticise the goverment for not doing enough. Prob the same type of people who see a sign "HOT DO NOT TOUCH " or WET PAINT. But cant resist the urge to touch it. Stay the f**k away from these dangerous hot spots no matter how good you're intentions! God wont stop bad things frim happening to you just cause you're preaching his word.
  18. So did they release the files. Im guessing not.
  19. Here kitty kitty kitty kitty kitty kitty kitty.
  20. Prob dont put any value on a plant and see it as you're not doing any harm.
  21. Facts thought it was common knowledge the catholic church see all forms of contraception as sinfull. Maybe its just fake news eh. @wilf despite what francie likes to think i do not salivate over abortion nor do i think its a good thing. As i said its a horrible practise, but imo in some cases the best option and being a man idont envy the women whi have had to make that decision. It must be a real life changing act.
  22. Born did you ever watch the documentary on the secret service accidental discharge theory? Its very interesting and very plausible. I like you dont go in for conspiracy theories, but that particular theory i bought into.
  23. Jackie stated she was trying to help the agent get into the car. They were close friends with that particular agent.
  24. Oh come 8n francie this is no longer a debate. Its turned into borderline fanaticism. no one side is prepared to sway the other. We get it you disagree lots of shit things happen in this world. Abortion is just another dark side of the world we live in. Yes 8tsa nasty business but as i said its there cchoice and you or i dont know the circumstances they face. Yes it will be abused by some women/couples. What do yoh suggest to stop it? Forced sterlisation?
  25. The repeat abortion women were probaly catholics who consider contraception a sin. I mean just goes to show how dangerous and idiotic religious preachings are. and bare no responsibility for the aftermath of there bullshit.
