  1. Well the new government are reversing a few of these issues, we shouldn't need an unelected body to control any of our laws. I agree. Give us a constitution stating the powers and limits of the government and I am all for getting out of Europe.
  2. Problem is while I hate the money wasted in Europe they do put a stop to many of the orwellian things our government try to impose on us. Without Europe the govenrment would have a fingerprint and DNA database of the whole population and before Labour were outed they were trying to spread CCTV inside peoples homes.
  3. Start now or you won't have any permission come winter. Would be shame if you accidently let most of the younguns and a few older ones go though
  4. When I broke my foot in 3 places I was still able to walk around without falling down every 5 seconds.
  5. There's some interesting views on this thread, but I didn't know that about the Somali pirates or the dumping of toxic waste. If that's true then that is a very interesting fact. Where did you read that mate? I'd be interested to read more about that. http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/johann-hari/johann-hari-you-are-being-lied-to-about-pirates-1225817.html http://english.aljazeera.net/news/africa/2008/10/2008109174223218644.html http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/261147
  6. To stream it you need to install software called sopcast. You can stream it and listen to radio 5 live for english commentary.
  7. Depends on how cold the water is
  8. Wife is working tomorrow so looks like I'm staying home
  9. For the size of our nation we over accomplish in sport.
  10. What normally happens in countries where the government collapses is the military step in and take control of the country. They then either try to keep enough structure in the country to hold new elections and form a new elected government or take control of the country and run it as a military dictatorship. If the Americans decide to come and step in and try and force their own opinions on everyone you end up with a country like Somalia. An interesting fact about Somalia is that it is kept that way on purpose. The seas off its coast are used to dump all the developed worlds toxic was
  11. I don't think things would change much. If theft, rape, murder were legal or you knew you would get away with it would you do it? Most people still wouldn't unless they had absolutely no other option. With regards to thieves you get 2 types. You get the ones that are desperate and just do it as they see no other way to survive and you get scumbags that don't care about others. With no police around I don't think the scumbags would last long.
  12. pay pal is rubbish ive been done 3 times and you dont get your money back if they clear there account. If you use a credit card to pay via paypal you can claim it back from your card company as it was a fraudulent payment. Despite what you credit card company tell you you don't need fraud protect as its illegal to charge you for finance if the transaction is not legit.
  13. Not sure if Haye has got it in him. I just want it to be a good watch no matter who wins It's a bit like the real Rocky 4. We just have to wait and see if Haye is playing Carl Weathers part or Stallones.
  14. have you sorted out the dog passports or are you just going to get dogs while you're out there? were not taking them when we first go but yes looked into and if i stay for a long time wil defo be taking my dogs over I've just got mine a passport. Cost £150 for the rabies jabs, blood tests and passports. They have a blood test 2 weeks after the rabies jab then result come about 10 days later, and then they can go overseas. They can't come back into this country though until 6 months after the blood test. Oh and they need to be microchipped.....just info for when you're getting you
  15. I don't like these silly names they come up with but it doesn't directly affect me so I don't care as long as the pups get good homes and are well looked after.
  16. I have no problem with people selling dogs or excess pups. I don't like people that buy dogs only to sell them or people that breed constant litters for cash. Buying a dog to sell on is actually a criminal offence as you are required to have a pet shop license.
  17. Id fancy a spaniel against 99% of ebt,s these days tell ya what mate that spaniel is a f**king tank Yeah I do carry a little wooden bat but I think il just carry a large stick out my garden it attracts less attension cos I got alot of people watching me all the time lol I would say 8/10 dogs round my way are aggressive it's horrible cos the owners don't give a f**k. If you want to carry something with you while walking the dogs then get yourself a nice walking stick. I got one recently because of my bad leg playing up on long walks. Personally wouldn't use it to hit
  18. Just make sure there's no collie in the breeding or you will be looking for a new dog.
  19. Did it have a litter tray?
  20. It also has a lot to do with how the meat is aged. Most supermarket meat is awful. All bright red and not aged. I always get things like beef from a quality butcher.
  21. i thought there was something wrong with me that i dont really like pups until theyve grown up a bit, i only really start to like a pup when its 6mths + Nope. Maybe we should start a club I only see pups as a way to almost guarantee that the dog is unspoilt and a means to an end to getting a properly trained adult dog. I broke my own rule by getting a year old saluki x and he has a few minor issues. Would never rehome him unless I had absolutely no choice and he does his job well but if I could go back in time I wouldn't buy him again.
  22. You're right, sufficient exercise and knowing that you're the boss would solve 99% of problem with most dogs I reckon. Lets face it though, if everyone who has a border collie, lab, spaniel etc. were made to get rid of it if they didn't/couldn't give it enough exercise there would only be the workers and a small handful of pets that would be left. For me, having a dog is all about having a fit, healthy and happy dog, it's great seeing them running around and looking good. I can't imagine having a big fat lab that can't even run, I just don't see what pleasure anyone would get out of that
  23. Yes it's fine. You should be worming your dogs every 3 months or so no matter what you feed them anyway. They can just as easily get worms from eating something found on a walk or from drinking from a puddle.
  24. One thing I would suggest is get some security. If anything over do the security as there are threads on here about stolen dogs every day or so. I'm a big fanny and keep mine inside because I don't have the diy skills to build anything even close dog proof let alone theft proof.
  25. I always liked them but most of them don't seem to have much muscle definition and really short turned in legs. I was talking to a guy up the road from me the other day and he said he had an EBT. I went in to see it and it was amazing. Nice and leggy with more muscle definition than I have ever seen on a dog. Was a lovely dog but still don't know if I would be confident putting it over a greyhound and spending a year on food and training just to see what one of the pups turned out like.
