if the truth be known with their lack of socialisation, hunting instinct and physical strength many track greyhounds will run and kill anything in front of them cat, fox, deer, sheep, other dogs anything. and we still haven't found out how much greyhound is in your dog i find this intresting,,,,,as moo started topic,,,,,,yet i might be wrong ,,,,doubtfull thou,,,,,moo owns brindle dog called tigger,,,,deer/suliki/grey,,,,,,,,,,what does ur greyhound side bring to table moo,,,??????? i think that will answer ur question

there does seem to be abit off hassel,,,,to this event,,,i think it might be folk rubbing each other up the wrong way and history but i do hope this event turns out a good un,,,,as a two dog knock out, and enough turn up,,,,i think will produce best whip/grey with the most in tank ,,,as a two dog knock out ,,,can go on for a fair bit,,,and the dog that wins it,,,would have had to run most off the day, depending on numbers good luck to whoever enter,s and let the dogs do the talking on the day,,,,with no arguments -

iam not disgraring,,,,,lurcher,s are tougher built is usally down to speed ,,,making them,,,the better round dog and breed but last summer on here when ground was hard in hight off summer most kept dogs on lead,,,,i dont blame them as ground was very very hard but non peds will still run,,no question yes they are more injury prone ,,,,but its down to the running abilitie,,,speed and there stopping distance,,,,,and owner not understanding them,,,,,and the ground they run on,,,,,,i will say nowadays non peds have got harder feet than the grey as non ped runs , hard summe -

I've owned and seen pleanty work over the years ! Cheers. its true they have thin skin,,,,,since 2005 ,,,,ive not had that problem, touch wood i did have a small toe problem,,,,,at racing but NEVER chasing prey,,,,zods law but lets not forget ,,,,lurchers tear themselfs and so does working whippets,,,,,,and has toe or feet problems but a non ped as pup or yearling tends to more injuryprone,,,,but after that,,,and a head to them ,,,there no diffrence to a lurcher or working whip,,,,which owners will care not to addmitt ( running dog,s are vet bills wotever the bree -

they can work and race dotty,,,,,not all as most that tend to breed to race,,,dont hunt,,,,nowadays tends to be the cost off what could be vet bills me on other hand ,,,,i will give them the hunt , but probably not as much as ,,,,the hunting guy,s i did sell ,,,a 3/8ths whip x 5ths grey to my neibour,,,,not for racing,,,just pure rabbit dog,,,i,e catch dog,,,for the tea ,,if u catch my driffed she has her flaws wont retrive,,,,but her stamia,,,,ive never seen the like,s,,,,but she was brought up that way ,,,,hunt for tea,,,stamia,,no issuse to ped whip,,,,,ive asked owner , ( i, -

ull never get the fastest whip/grey,s in the contry,,,,showing up as may - to july.....there,s the championships/ english derby/ and scottish derby me and bro did take part at kirkcaldy lurcher racing two dog knock out and did well or won,,,,,great idea as it promotes stamia in breed as its not for the faint hearted ,,,,ie if 100 dogs take part but if u want to keen on the best in breed ,,,,any non ped club will throw away the traps and race any on the slip ,,,weather racing on 200yards or even 500 yrds ,,,its been done before,,,i for one had supreme scottish lurcher racing champ,,,at
