But was the cesarian definately age related?? what did your vet say ??? Pernod vet suggested for first litter 6 was too old. Something to do with tighter ligaments in the pelvis?? My bitch was fit/ healthy and in good nick, all surviving pups good size and healthy too.

My bitch had first litter at 6. Ended with cesarean and loosing 3 of the 9 pups. Bitch recovered fine and looked after pups well though.

My old bitch cut all her front legby paw this mornin on barbed wire sticking up outa ground. Chasing a bloody squirrel!hoping all dogs recover quick , Its a sickner.

My Mrs had quite a heated argument with a "friend" of hers about hunting. In a nutshell she told her the meat we ate was fresher and had lived a better life than most of the "supermarket shit" she'd ate. Her "friend" actually conceded in the end and agreed the Mrs had enlightened her! At a recent BBQ we did game pie, pigeon pie, rabbit stew, fresh caught trout on bbq etc alot of our friends who came are not into hunting but it was good that they all had a go and said it was nice!

Seen this before - absolute disgrace! These knobs lack understanding and education in our ways. I've was brought up as a little one eating rabbits, pheasants etc what the old man caught My kids are doing the same today and hopefully theirs will too.I've had chickens taken by reds, so I see it is as protecting our own.
