    ur right most sighthounds will chase anything,,,but its nothing to do with lure its in the breed,,,,with exceptions to that rule,, lurchers have the working dog,,,meaning more brains ,,but lurchers carry alot off sighthound too that mix,,,so will chase almost anything also do u think ,,,when sighthounds are pup,s they chase that lure like there pro,s ???? they dont,,,like anything else,,,they are engouraged and given partice and if the guy wants to use a lure for keeping his dog fitt,,,dont for one minute tell him a lurcher wont,,,,as ive seen pure collies / terries /lurcher,s/ ev

    ive read most off that post,,,,,somtimes too much can have effect on dog,s,,,,like us if over streached me personally 4 days excircise,,,day rest before racing,,racing 6th day,,,,7th day rest when i think dogs are nearing the peak fittness or at peak fittness ,,,i tone the mid week excircise down alittle,,,as i want them to stay round about peak fittness and most importantly they dont run stale,,meaning there tired and they only run ,,but they lost there spark as they havent had rest,,,or there gettin pushed to hard,,,as there not robots every dog,s diffrent,,,,,its up to owner to

    if toe nail has come off competly just keep it clean,,,,,cause its back toe nail,,u dont have to wait for the nail to grow in again,,before u can take her out,,,,as back toe nails dont give dogs too much problems unlike the fronts be perpared that once toe nail grows back,,it might not be as strong,,,and ull find maybe couple off time,s in her life time it might come off again,,,but nothing too much to worry about once its healed alittle and isnt got infected , a loss off a back toe nail doent usally give a dog much problem,s and a running about like nothings happened with in the w

    Hi Mate, Wondered if you could help at all - we just had a litter off our 6 year old bitch so we could keep one ourselves - she's 1/2 greyhound, 3/8th whippet and 1/8th deerhound. The sire is 3/4 greyhound and 1/4 whippet - we have his full breeding lines from the stud owner - his lines include top honcho/im slippy etc but unfortunately we lost touch with the breeder of the bitch from Angelsey - I do remember him saying she was from the lines of a dog called RED - just wondered if you'd heard of this dog? there was a dog called ( red 42 ) out off irish tinker x pot luck,,,dont know i
