some we have,,,there race breed,,,but there sizes ,,,go up and down,,,some breeding and litter can throw more to whippet,,,other litter,s can throw a good few to the greyhound side 1/4 grey 20inch 1/4 grey 23inch 1/4 grey 23/24inch 1/2 grey 21inch 1/2 grey 25inch 3/8ths grey samre litter,,,,height range from 18inch to 20inch to 24inch 5/8ths grey,,just under 21inch,,,,litter mate made 24half inch

most ive seen range from ,, 20inch to 23 inch it does,, like u said above depend on size off the parents ,,,somtimes a really small one is prduced other times a monster lol

i have the same problem with my 10 month pup,,,when 8 month she would run off with her catch and try o eat it,,,,,slowly she started to retrive,,,was out this week she cuaght 2,,,,both she has retrived ,,,pretty much to hand,,,,when she catches ,,,,if she doesnt retrive,,,,i walk back 10yards from her knowing she wont just lev rabbit,,,,she carrys it towards me,,,,then i walk back again ,same thing she picks rabbit up comes towards me,,,ect ect this is her a 9month,,,,not coming straight to me ,,,notice she,s retriving to side alittle,,,,but she,s gettin the jist,,,after photo i stepped ba

it all depends how ur lurcher is breed there,s no age applied,,,,but if ur lurcher pup has alot off growing 12/15months onwards i would start,,,,if small whippet type 7/10months onwards but as a pup,,,wotever there breeding ,,,short slips wont do them any harm mind there,s clubs all about the country ,,,,greyhound stadiums/ ped whippet clubs / bwra nonped clubs and lurcher racing,,,,all good fun in summer,,,most clubs dont cost arm and leg to join or trial,,,,for a run my club is away to shut next few months,,,althou i let mine take few rabbits and get invites with the local lurch

well paddy didnt get to the final i wanted,,,,but did get me to final with the bagpipes,,,,the irish lads that came to scotland where amazing guys paddy with wife and lad paddy week later at derby in white waiting for finalist and shay chartploskie fav,,,,he was in no doubt the king off the scratch 2011 and a few more pic,s off the hardblood winners -

Good to hear Crush is doing so well, was always interesting to me with them being so close in age. Rogues 24.5" think she's done now. Would like to see your pics of Crush so put them up when you get chance. Rogue retrieved pretty well - not to hand - but about 5ft away which I was pleased enought with to start. i think crushes litter mate,,,is 241/2 inch aswell went northhumberland,,,,dont know about her other litter mate,,,i think went to hawick heres couple off pic off my phone,,not very good lol with her father,,she settled in well,,,,her farther didnt like shareing his chair

welldone vld i ended up with crush as freash earths,,,neibour ,,,was complaning about her ,,making noise when she was playing and genreral puppy noises in kennel 9 1/2 months now,,,not going to be big ,,,,iam schooling her to race now at kirkcaldy ,,,,but out on walks ,,,,she,s caught 6 rabbits , 2 adults 4 young uns,,,,ill put pics up later ,,,,i think she will only be 21/22 inch fully grown her retriving is only half way,,,,as she doesnt bring to hand yet,,,but starting to carry them towards me ,,,but gettin closer to hand
