  1. Hi there Ray, I'd usually advise people begin with Air Arms Fields or FX pellets. They are a great starting point and you will be suprised how many people revert back to them once testing of others is complete Phantom

  4. There is always a chance, but mine came through in a padded envelope wrapped around a hard box with bubble wrap inside. Now I used to work for the Royal Mail and I know what kind of abuse a parcel can go through but the packing that my MK4 came it I could have placed a bomb under it and it would have survived without a scratch Phantom
  5. Sounds like a seals gone Get the service kit from here http://www.airriflepump.com/ Phantom
  6. Right, yeah they are Big and I can imagine the sound of the crack Not as big as a Goose and they are big buggers, but a pellet to the noggin works well on them as well SPA for common sense and a nice job done well Phantom

  8. Cheers nangell, I will be having a look at them. Phantom, with the filters what sieze do you use? And do you pull them through sideways or inline, I was thinking maybe hair rig it (without the hook) Also do you use them dry or with a bit of oil? Never cleaned a barrel before sory. .atb gents. .ste. The filters are the same as the ones Nangell mentioned I pull them trough after bending them in half. The hair rig style is basically the same as I use I pull them through after I've used a little bit of baby wipe or rag with a touch of WD40 on it. Once they are comming out clean th

  12. I use (occasionally) a piece of fishing line and a baby wipe. (in .177, I pich the lads filters from his fags ) Simply put a loop in a piece of string/fishing line, feed from mussle to breech, slot a baby wipe (or other cloth) into the loop and pull trough from breach to muzlze. Works a treat repeat until clean Sorted! Phantom
  13. I'll agree he is a good guy And I care not about us being called the "Back slapping brigade"! People on other forums moan and whinge about things and deals that have gone wrong, but 99% off all trades, deals etc on here go with bang and the results are positively fantastic. For those that like to moan about our friendly helpful community Phantom

  15. As mentioned, what rifle are you talking about? There are very few rifles these days that are not hunting rifles (even down to sub 6's if you can get within range) As I mentioned in another thread of your, YOU WILL need a permit/license as you are in Northern Ireland There is NO getting away from it as I advised, earlier, approach your local constabulary if you intend to shoot vermin on "Family Land" I can not see there being a problem for you at all Phantom
  16. Welcome to the forum Steve Is it possible that the Guage has worked loose perhapse? Try tightening it buy turning it to the right a little and see if that helps? If not, then someone will be along to help you out further Phantom
  17. You need to buy a red filter then? My red filter shows up red Is yours the red Deben one? Phantom
  18. Just as a side note, Camo, is to break up your outline/solid shape so that the animals find it harder to spot you, NOT to hide you from human eyes. Darren, if you would like a sample letter to send out (alter it to your own needs) let me know or do a search on here for Grim Reapers permission forms and letters, they are good and well written. I use one myself that I have tailored to meet my own requirements so far its been sucessful Phantom
  19. Yeah, but this year's was limited to invites only ad Davy was only allowed x number of people on the permission. Davy, were gonna need a bigger venue buddy, Oh and Scuba's gonna have his workcut out for him at this rate, Bring your own Hares for the BBQ lads :11: Phantom

  21. Yes it does pay to get a few rechargables. I got 6 when I purchased my charger (less than about 6£ all in) The time seems to be longer when using them continuosly for some reason. And the batteries really don't like the cold (talking very cold minus temps here, but then again most batts don't like the cold) I generally find when its very cold I may use two pairs in 3 or 4 hours. But as the ambient temps rise they last a whole hell of a lot longer and several hours of lamping can be had with a single set. You will notice when they need changing as the brightness takes a sudden, noti
