  1. Do you want a Springer (Modern or old) , or a modern PCP? PCP's are totally recoil free, but a springer gives me a greater feeling of achievement. What will you be shooting at, tin cans, knockover targets, paper punching or bunny (or other quarry) bashing? Phantom. By the way, get used to the banter, it keeps things ticking over but you WILL get the answers to questions from someone or other and if its not been said already, Welcome to the nut house
  2. Hell fire, buddy!! What did you use on that li'l un on the lower right? Looks like you knocked its face clean off with a .50Cal Good going. I only seem to pop one on each outing Phantom
  3. I finally got to use my Tesco Cree Torch last Friday night! Nowhere near as good as I had heard Okay out to 15 maybe 20 yards, anything further was a definate no-go!! I'd gone through all the info, got a mount, made a remote switch, but for bunnies in a field close work and in buildings they are the dogs nuts though I'm going to follow Robs advice and get one of those Phantom

  5. If you can handle the recoil Failing that a rifle It only takes about 4ft/lbs to kill a coney, if you hit it in the nogging! Ratting, go for a carbine rifle, such as the ratcatcher. Phantom
  6. Phwuc'ing good post there Buddy Excellent Shot too Wayheeeeyyyyy But, if I were you, I would keep the new GasRam! I had a little play with one the other night, I am Sooooooooo Drooooooling over it. As you know I have a Springer which is like, my favourite type of rifle because I get such a thrill out of mastering the recoil and getting a perfect head shot . After using the Gas ram the other night I MUST OWN one, because there is a 'Spirit' to it My AA is a cracking good rifle, but me thinks it needs a lil' soul to it. Don't think I will do thats much Hunting with th
  7. When I first joined this forum, there were a few member that had noting but grief to give! If a newbie like myself asked a question, then we were given nothing but grief from a few members. They called hell out of other forums and the members of them. So for a good long time after I asked a question and defended someone on another forum and got nothing but abuse for doing so, fromcertain members I stayed away for a long time. After all what was the point in asking a question if the answer to it was "FVCK off ass hole!, go play elswhere". Now however, I find that the people on here such
  8. The FX is a first rate rifle straight from the old Logun factory in Sweden, well designed & engineered quality Lothar barrels, great service & parts backup from FX Webley UK. have sold 25 of these in 2 months with no come backs. foxon. I have just purchased a second hand AA S200, took it out last Friday night, had a play on the plinking range to zero the scope. once done it was putting .22's through 11mm kill zones from 15 to 35 yards! Then the pellet landed exactly where I aimed on a bunny and it dropped like the proverbial "lead baloon" the accuracy of this rifle is bett

  14. Hey guy's I went out last night up to a mates permission with him. Had two serious Thunder Storms and got soaked running back for cover on the second one Took the S200 for its 1st session. Spent half hour on the plinking range to get used to it before we wandered round the HFT course and made out way into the fields. When I was consistently hitting the 11mm killzones from 15 to 35 yards I felt confident that I could do what I wanted to and drop bunnies with one shot. Must admit though, took a bit of getting used to not having any recoil. I also got to have a couple of shots

    GAS RAM

PM me for a far cheaper gas ram mate not at inflated price either Donny yah bugger! This thread has got me thinking about putting a GasRam in my SMK Mod19 in .22 I have heard from a friend that the recoil is more like that of a shottie than a springer and I quite like that idea I do so love a good recoil, in fact I've been called a recoil massochist Its an Identical Copy of the Gamo Hunter. How much roughly? I would fit it myself. Phantom

The top one is the SMK Mod19 with SMK 3-9x40 scope and Tesco Cree torch modified with remote switch. Also wearing the home made Red Filter and Holder. The bottom is the new (to me) AA S200 dressed with the Kassnar 3-9x56 Scope (I believe its called a Night Owl).
