  1. Put me down as well Si I best start saving now! Tony
  2. It's fooking H&S gone mad Malt! Thanks for that, replied while I was reading this lot One of those realistic 92F type ones? You can sort of see why he'd be concerned if that was the case, what if it was real and he'd stumbled on a loon .......... Hopefully it will be easily sorted for you though, if there's no offence then there's nothing more to do or say surely? If it was real and I was a loon, the council wouldn't be investigating it and I'd be busy cleaning his carcass ready for the pot (I hate wasting a good kill) and even then the council can not us
  3. hi Skot dont worry about a change of clothes, its not a fashion parade just clean knickers and wet wipes that will do you! Fuckit, Iknew I forgot something Remind me toget the wet wipes from Tesco please Davy
  4. Fookit, I aint got a chair Ah well there is always the deck to sit on AKA "The Dog Shelf"
  5. Scopes are fragile these days Many are designed for purely PCP or Centrefire guns. All Hawke Scopes are designed to withstand the sub 12 Springers recoil So I would go with them Tony
  6. I've got my action protected in my slip, which is in my trolly case, the stock is seperate in my backpack. Therefore I'm travelling with components and not a gun! Takes care of all the legailities now its no longer British Rail (who would have allowed complete guns!) Last time I kept the gun and stock seperate in my case Perfectly legal to do so If you carry the gun complete, you may get funny looks fromother passengers and the train companies may require you to have written permission from each company you use, some of whome may demand a payment. So to keep it at component level; se
  7. Damn!!! I was hoping to see a match between you and Darryl and his new Daystate Panther!!! I was gonna take on the winner with my .22 S200   Get well soon bud Tony
  8. I will see what the housing officer comes back with, next week as she said she will need to speak to the Firearms Department again. Thats fine and dandy Toby, the tenancy agreement says they may give permission after they have inspected my licence. But I don't have a licence, there is no such license in England for a sub12 Air Rifle. Going by the wording of the tenancy agreement they wouldn't give a damn about my Air Pistols or my co2 Pistols or co2 Rifles. All this because Michael Ryans mother said "Shoot down the shops and fetch me a loaf of bread will yah son" :laugh
  9. Hi SS, I live in a one room appartment, my guns are all in slips, there are my shooting trophies and photographs of me shooting on the walls. He told me that he was a paintballer and skirmisher. He asked me if I was an airgunner and I said yes. He saw a Baretta Pistol on my desk that I was working on, he saw my slips that house my rifles and I have no doubt that he noticed my collection of inert rounds as well as they were near my Shooting Trophies and Airgun Books on the bookshelves. Tony
  10. Thanks Gent's I already have argued that all my guns are legal and that under the law I am allowed to carry them in public and I dont need a safe or anything. I'm now about to start quoting the laws in an official written reply to them. It's just so much f*****g stress that I really do not need in my life at the moment. Bearinator, I'd be glad of his number I'll let you all know how it turns out. The Housing Officer said she will get back to me later next week. Tony
  11. Yesterday, I had a council contractor round doing a survey, within an hour of him leaving I had the police round to inspect my guns The police left, happy with the fact that they are all legal and above board. Today I got a call from one of the Senior Housing Officers and it now Seems I may be made homeless soon, apparently I store offensive weapons. Under section 6.8 of the Council Tenancy Agreement "You must not keep any Firearm, Shotgun, Air Rifle or any other offensive weapon that could not be legally carried in public at the property, without our written permission to d

  13. I dont think he was an Anti. At first I thought he was then I read some of the rest of his posts. He seemed to be more amazed than angry, perhaps his translator was screwed. Hiya Jasp, good to hear from yah Tony
  14. Unfortunately our train wont get into Swindon till late afternoon But Skot and I will be able to help tidy up on the Sunday. Tony
  15. I reckon that as the rabbit has to eat something and these eggs dont just appear on the muscle something must work through the meat in order for the eggs to form in the cyste, I Personally would be asking the doctor for medication as a 'precaution' against Tapeworm. Rabbits are only the intermediate host. These things can grow the entire length of the intestinal tract and deprive you of nutrients at the least. Tony
  16. Tapeworm eggs are extremely resiliant to both freezing and cooking. They have also been known to be fatal to humans if the get into the lungs, heart and brain. I would visit your doctor.
  17. Hi, are you new to Airgunning or just to hunting? If the former, best advice is paper punching at various ranges until you are getting sub 1inch groups out to 35 yards. Then come back and ask for advice on field craft and sniping over warrens etc... Tony
  18. I use em for all sorts mate, wiping worktops, cleaning the floor (dont use the ones with moisturiser in though) etc.... Tony
  19. Nice one Mike, I'm a little green, seems like forever since I last shot anything (including paper). Looking forward to Friday so I can give my trigger finger some excercise and of course meeting up with friends again. Tony
  20. Although I have an SA80 barrel brush, what I used to do was get a length of fishing line or string, loop it at one end, push it down the barrel until the loop comes out of the breech. Then tear a strip of tissue or a baby wipe (or similar) put it half through the loop, then pull through. Repeat until satisfied, using clean strips. Easy as that and it works a treat and dirt cheap too Tony
  21. Ooops, Posted wrong image! Coccidiosis: Eimeria stiedae
  22. Here's a couple more Only Craig AKA Buster was able to give me the name of this one, it's called "Coccidiosis" or among vets "Eimeria stiedae" More on Liver diseases of bunnies can be found here http://www.rabbit.org/health/liver.html Finally... This is again a Tapeworm Cyste, but checkout the size! My hands are not small! Tony
  23. It's strange really, Tapeworms can cross into humans and other species such as dogs, foxes etc,.... But none of the worms that infect Pigeons can not infect humans including the Tapeworm! There are over a thousand different types of tapeworm apparently The ones that inhabit Mamals can cross into humans, apparently the ones that inhabit the Avian species are harmless to humans (but I would prefere an authoritive conclusion on that). Right.... Big Mac you wanted them here's a few images of various Livers. One of the first things a meat inspector does when an animal is slaughtered is
  24. :icon_redface: No, but I took my sleepers before I shut down the comp (not a good idea really ) I dont remember making the post. After re-watching the vid again and translation of the text I typed, it should read "Davy, your really starting to loosen up in front of the camera now", He's lost that "oh sh!t the camera's on me" look that he used to have. The same look as me when someone points a lens my way And yep, see Y'awl Friday Tony
  25. As soon as they are out Adam, if your lucky and get there early enough you may have a chance at the moving one thats running around putting the statics our
