Not true. A saline soak and letting dog lick wound will deal with any infection - unless the dog is otherwise unwell and it's immune system is compromised, .....ok, I just made it up......your last part is bit of a get out of jail card for saying a saline soak and dog licking wound will deal with any infection ,as if the dogs lamping fit/ worked hard, theres a very fine line with immune system and it being compromised .dont you think? if the nail is off ,keep it clean and let it heal ,you take dog out and it will get infected .

What Cross Is The Best Saluki Cross Or Bull Cross ?

for what each cross were both bred to hunt , a good one from each cross will beat the other hands down ,no contest ...a cross between the two(well line bred coursing dog not saluki ) will in my mind produce what i think is the ideal all round lurcher ,but still wont beat a good animal of the parents crosses at each of thier games .....IE a good 1/2 bull on foxes and a good coursing dog on hares preban -

yes think you just need to cut back on work with longer rest days inbetween but still give the older dogs thier fix per week to keep them happy
