right lads you need a holding number for having a goat contact defra 1st they will tell you exactly what to do to obtain a one as if you dont and you get found out for having one by them you will be in serious trouble as you need to keep records of every movement you make of agricultural livestock since the foot and mouth ............so my advise would be get a holding number 1st before you even think about getting the goat or you will end up in court lads good luck dep
