    i agree lampers for lurchers greyhound blood is good but the very few hares would get killed if it wasn’t far the greyhound couldn’t be further from the truth mate with salukis come single handed hare killers the saluki is a far better hare stopper than a greyhound ?

    i would think middle eastern dogs are more long distance runners the salukis used bk in the day like knightellington windswift etc we’re used for hare coursing aswell as showing they could kill hares

    you got your hands on a good pure back then it wasn’t easy to get a lining a saluki lurcher runs just like a pure saluki just that saluki lurchers of today are from good killers it’s bound to improve them it is still hard now to get a lining from saluki breeders isn’t it

    threw the years just about every type greb 3/4 grey 1/4 whippet would be about the best but won’t kill em regular and will break down when the wet comes

    i know from seeing them a 3/4 grey cross anything isn’t stopping hares regular greb it’s nonsense mate how you going to run a few hares with that cross ? min and half in the tank 2 mins max ?
