  1. I must say, that is an outstanding puppy, and in superb condition. I hope you find a good permanent working home for it, sorely tempted myself. B

  4. I was approached by CW a few years ago by Tracy Allen (through a friend)and asked to do a few "grass roots articles" on lurcherwork and terrierwork, I agreed and put a few in under the penname of Bullcross, and then later as Carl Terryn. All was rosey until the mag was taken over by a different publisher(no names mentioned), and all they printed had to be politically correct, jackie Drakeford and Penny Taylor started appearing regularly. The editor at the time was Dave Venner, and in the end I stopped sending in as it was a waste of time. My articles, or my attempt at articles, were warmly re

  7. The good lord put nuts on a dog for a valid reason, tell her to let them be !!!!, theyre his so leave them alone PS Nice looking pup mate
  8. I can only comment on the bull collars as they are the only ones I have myself. I was AMAZED at the quality of them, the quality of workmanship, even the rows of stitching run parallell, they are the dogs bollocks mate. I have the 1 3/4 inch wide bull collars with the brass fittings; I can assure you that you wont be dissapointed. I'm sure his posts are pinned on one of the for sale sections, the working dogs and livestock I think. You'll only ever need one of these collars mate I guarantee you that B
  9. Sorry mate just noticed theres three pics at the top, theres one born every day isnt there. Whats the second one down fella, dog or bitch ?
  10. I'm suprised they haven't been snapped up mate, they are belters fair play to you, and asking a working mans price for them as well. Very best of luck with selling them. Just an idea, it might be worth you putting pics of just the three left for sale for people to have a look at whats on offer, just a thought mate. ATB B

  17. Thanks for your reply TT, I really dont know what it could have been, just trying to explore all avenues really. I suppose what I should have done is have an autopsy carried out on her, but I was that gutted I just wanted to get the job done and put the turf back over. You'd never think a kennel could look so empty. A very good friend of mine that had the litter brother of my pup offered me his as he knew how gutted I was, how generous is that, but until I find out, or at least try and find out what caused it I had to refuse his very kind offer. Have disinfected all my kenlles with formula

  21. 3 Kicks in the bollox would concentrate anyones mind Wont touch a lamb but not much good for stud work now though lol
  22. Doin a pretty good job as it is mate !! Salty water is as good as you'll get for a smallish cut, but as its in "lickable" range, might be an idea to remove dressing and bathe in salty water a few times a day, the bitch will keep it clean by licking it, natures way. Just keep an eye on it. A vet once told me that his rule of thumb was, up to an inch - no stitch, over - stitch. Sound advice I think. Regards B
