    I think yours is a fair and valid point o&a, I think if the kicking standard in this world cup was at a "normal" level, not even a brilliant one, then a few matches results would have been somewhat altered, but hey ho, you gotta take it as it comes.

    Meindl , I have had a pair for over 12 years, while they might not be fully waterproof anymore, they are still an extremely good walking / digging boot. Fitted like a glove from day 1.

    Like has already been said by the window licker, its not the nights or days in a week worked, but its nights or days worked over a few seasons, thats when you know what your dog has in the tank, the heart , then you can gauge it a proper working dog or not. Every dog is different, thats when the experience of the handler comes to the fore, or not as is the case sometimes. again, just my humble opinion, but i wish i'd have said this before Simoman, that twat gets in first every time, clever git lol.

    The two most dangerous jobs in my opinion, deep sea fishermen and miners, absolutely f****n gutted for the famillies of the men, when you are brought up in a mining village and mining community as I was it cuts real deep. All the coal mining areas of the uk, Scotland,yorkshire, North east, South Wales heavy industrial areas, black country, thats all they knew, no choice, no other work about, generations side by side. All the people from these heavy industry and mining areas will know how it feels, how it hits a community, and how that community will pull together like you wouldn't beleive
