  1. some forms of kennel cough are bacterial im lead to beleive so antibiotics would help but ive yet to see a vet check what type a dog has, there is a ton of it going round near me and now a case of lung worm, even the viral form can weaken a dog so it get secondary bacterial infections. my pup caught kennel cough and i treated with benolyn and it cleared up within a week, but i didnt excercise him at all at is can put more stress on the respitory system making the cough worse. if your dog is still coughing give it a bit longer theres still plenty of time to get your dog fit
  2. in his prime getting on a bit 29" dam saluki grey with a bit of deerhound sire saluki grey wiih a bit of bull (scout)

  5. do you guys get the instant experts that know more about your dog than you after seeing it for 10 secs, i had a half cut idiot the other night asking me about my "greyhound" i politely told him its a lurcher and was told in no uncertain terms it was too big to be a lurcher and had to be a greyhound, i think more thought goes into 90% of lurcher breeding than the morons that get born round here
  6. theres a sloughi near me, big dog over 30" slow, turning circle of a barge couldnt imagine it on game, but thats just one dog doesnt mean there arent any good ones kicking about
  7. got to agree on that most on the tripe stinks, but not the tripe chunks he sells, ive only had 1 dodgy box(chicken carcase) and he replaced no questions asked
  8. would be interested in the best place you have used millet
  9. yeah used them for a while now good quality and a big range of products there also really helpfull

  13. feed my dogs flesh and bone 1 dog at 12 1/2 pearly white perfect teeth other dog at 10 not so good with smelly breath think it also has to do with how the dogs eat but meat and bone definatly better than biscuit

  18. might be hard to do cos of his age but you can still try, go back to basics retreiving in the house or garden some where he cant run round you, use a ball his favourite toy a rolled up sock and get him bringing that back, then move on to a rabbit skin. and if that doesnt work train yourself to run faster so you can catch him

  20. red, is that a polite way to say ginger lol hes out of a dog called scout he was in darcys book extreme lurcher work, hes basically saluki grey but with a tiny bit of bull on the sires side and deerhound on the bitches side

  23. most vets prescribe corticosteroids not anabolic shouldnt confuse the 2 epo not a steroid at all probably more risky than gear
