aswell as wet forming look at hot waxing its what i used and you also get a tight weatherproof and hardened finish all you need is some beeswax which melt down a brush and a hair dryer warm the leather brush on the wax and use the hairdryer on the leather, the leather should suck up the wax, keep doing it till it doesnt soak anymore then form the leather while it is warm. I have one here that when you push the knife in it clicks into place and holds it very secure

yeah i know but think it would be good for hughes and bj to go again to find the number 1 contender, i like serra a lot but unless hes been traing his arse off dont think he brings enough to the table to take it off gsp, not looking at his latest performance
-
just finished watching it not that good of an event apart from hughes gsp that was awesome, hope they give bj another shot cause he was dominating hughes at the earlier event

i only say this as i grew up with labs that got finished off with bad hips and so my mother has now started getting her dogs hip scored just so she can plan for the future, her adult dog has come back with 0/0 which she was chuffed about, there are too many people simply breeding for the cash and dont take into consideration for the breed charge a fortune for unsound pups the people make there money back by breeding and so the circle continues, i will now get off my soap box ps in no way am insinuating that this is what young beater is doing and sorry for hijacking your thread.
-
maybe it would help to put on if he has been hip scored and eye tested, as i think this should be taken into consideration when breeding especially with a breed that could have dodgy hips. imo

read this somewhere and had to put it up here The other night I was invited out for a night with "the girls." I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, "I promise!" Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easy. Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hall started up and cuckooed 3 times. Quickly realizing my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times. I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution, in order to escape a possible conflict with

too be honest i would have liked to seen a bit more emotion from the owner when she saw her dog i would have been doing back flips, but im just glad it got back to the owner and didnt have to go into rescue

the last 2 pictures are a carbon steel it gets a lovely patina on it they take a really good edge for a cheap blade and hold it pretty good to most of the other blades are semi stainless in steels i havent heard of before a lot of the spacers are buffalo horn and or rams horn they both take a lovely deep polish i didnt use vulcanised spacer material im a cheap skate at heart and used a dvd box on the full tang blades, i havent made a knife in a while and this is making me want to knock another couple out. i will give you as much help and advice as i can so you can knock something up your rea

saw a dog worse than that on one of these dog training programs it basically thinks its next in line when your not there so one of the things they did was have the lass eat in front of it before the dog and then she began feeding the dog so it started to realise she was in control but it basically sounds its got too big for its boots and it needs sorting quick before it hurts some one
-
i would suggest making hidden tang there is more room to make a knife your way i have made both and do enjoy making the hidden tangs some good cheap blades that take a good edge are karesundo or something similar, i made the mistake of buying the handmade blades and now realise i havent done them justice and wish i could redo them the full tangs i had made and designed for me by stuart mitchell in sheffeild when making the blade tape it up for your protection and the blades dont sand in the house the dust turns up for ages be careful with the dust some of it is quite irratating draw round
