  1. I've worked and took a few bites of them there a imposing figure, personally I'd not like to tackle one without a suit on full on aggressive ones I worked would bite and shake not a calim bite like most police k9 units look for but f**k me arm been ripped to peaces with no protection.
  2. In a council estate there a bomb waiting to go off probably best off left in the mountains of Georgia ?
  3. Worked some Caucasian Shepherd Dogs would make you think twice about entering any property, never worked a central Asian shepherd before.
  4. Had a dog before that would leave holes in ditchs after rabbits best dog I ever had was close enough to a all-round dog but yes I agree I'd rather he would of just poped his head into some ditchs, did he have to much drive or lack a bit of brain? Probably a bit of both ?
  5. 1:40 he got a fright ??? thanks for sharing some nice catches good footage, all the best for next season ?
  6. No problem Jetro I've bred trained and worked them anything u wanna know ask me. Again it's just my experience people feel free to pull me on anything you don't agree with.
  7. Big money in them alright @downsouthlot of people get done on lurchers taken a chance OK that's 200/400 depending on what your buying can take that on the chin if it jacks, a PP dog worth 3k/5k if jacks can cause you or your family going to hospital plus the thousands lost not many can take that lost and the worse part is there sold to family's that haven't a clue and sold the dream by dogs been worked in pray drive only.
  8. Well I'll tell you from working training and breeding these dogs in those videos thy left out the countless dogs coming up the lead at you durn training the none stop barking the countless pairs of bottoms ripped by pups the countless times out in your underwear at 4am getting the c**ts back in there kennels freezing your balls off cause a leaf hit the ground, I've dated bipolar woman that caused me less stress then most Mali's would.
  9. @downsouth I reamber Satis dog also real dark brindle dog with one white sock far up on the front leg a fine animal, ye Joe's dogs are solid he's a quite lad on social media not many know about what he has (some the best dogs are kept like that) your right only breed if you intend to keep a few back yourself.
  10. Seen the dog before in London fine animal he bred it back in 2013/2014 I think dog placed in Danny lines night trials, lad in photo called Joe I think, I'm just going off memory form 6 years ago could have my wires crossed.
  11. Nice one, all the best for this winter.
  12. Was a lad on facebook well known from the East derived a few bandogs to London personally himself, he's a small lad with glasses also runs a steal company can't remember his name was 2013 I last worked any his dogs got a tidy crop job on them also, but the dogs were handy enough.
  13. It's a pitbull @keepdiggin just as well it's not bred for looks ???
  14. Been a while since I was looking at bandogs seen some tidy ones from Serbia and Sweden can't reamber the names of the kennels thy were from if i heard the name I'd reamber. Always fancied one bred from them kennels I'm not as active as I used to be and kennel space these days is a issue.
  15. Well you got a dog to guard the yard, as u say hes "roaming your yard daily" the simplsity of it ? sometimes life is just that easy ??? again fine looking animal and doesn't look like a yard dog in the seance that his coat and condition is A1 fair play nice to see a dog doing what he was bred to do and been well kept.
  16. @downsouth I've worked some very capable bandogs it's prefrance rely in witch you rather for a guard dog or PP dog, a good Mali and good bandog I wouldn't go near either without a suit on, valid point also noted with "laid back" thy don't need as much stimulation mentally to be content.
  17. The hunter / pet you mention as much as we all like to go on about how much we only care about the dogs working ability I'll admit myself forming bonds with dogs outside the field is enjoyable and if been honest a bonus, once it's working to the standard I expect haven a bond with the dog is a bonus. Saying that I've had some working dogs that didn't even like been petted real serious type that's no problem I'll always keep a dog on ability 1st. Just referring to your post haven the bond is a bonus I agree.
  18. done any protection work with him? Fine looking animal.
  19. Good insight and some history in there thanks for sharing Casso.
  20. very nice stamp Bob credit to you
  21. Picked up the odd few older dogs over the years that were working already for a bit of bunny bashing, never got a whippet with a pedigree (no need never bred them), reamber the paper never rejects ink was never big into them just got the odd one for a mooch ect
  22. it's been going on for a long time now breeding for colours ect pets4homes and gumtree was flooded with them and blue ones selling for more people breeding just to get blues, I'm gonna be very honest I dont think there worth the price tag as a pup, it's the hours training in them that adds value (been sold 6m/1yr) but going picking out a 8 week old pup paying 1,000+ I think is over priced but that's the market price for a well bred one. It's about the money not the dogs anymore worse thing that could of happened was that Mali going on the mission to kill osama bin laden with the navy seal
  23. It's a wide bracket there all different some can switch off, but let's just say for the topics sake a full on over the top Russle and full on over the top Mali the difference is one can weight up to 40kg and you just don't want that flying around like a scalded cat knocking off things barking it's head off around the house and yard. With training and exercise it helps keep them clear in the head and balanced but some need to be constantly kept in check, different lines offer different traits and low drive Mali's can make good pets less demanding I honestly believe if getting one that person sh
  24. Mali's are a very wide range of dogs these days everyone will have different experiences with them I'd almost go as far as to saying thy very like a game bred pitbull and a bully XL would yet fall under the brcket "pitbull" in some people's mind. The high drives in Mali's are desired traits in working dogs but not so much in pets you can get some that will switch off while at home, my advise is if looking for a Mali as a pet go to as many training sessions as u can in protection work and talk to as many experienced owners as u can to get feed back. I've had some right p
  25. Friend of mine had one in the UK had a good nose ? and bit of a attitude was a fight trying to get my hunting gear out the back of the van dog thought he owned the stuff didn't want me near it ??? don't mind that better then a shy timed dog.
