just a few minutes from jtn 28 m25 mate. There was a programe about the deer on the box a few weeks back called sky cops if you saw it they were looking out for people poaching them in the wood opposite where i live, Frank knows where i am on about (i think) Basically the local do gooders who feed the deer had said there was poaching going on and were up in arms as the herd numbers were dwindling. They sent the choppers up and you should of seen the number of deer showing on their thermal cameras was amazing...they pulled the guys over with their guns as they were dragging one back to the lan

i heard a dj whinning on the radio the other day about this, he had to stump up £15 a head for his...personally i think it's taking the **ss, but on the other hand he's in a better position than most salary wise.

Well here she is, picked her up last night, left her boxed overnight and have bowed her outside for the morning. Will get her empty weight later this afternoon as she was fed up prior to collection and some better pics when it stops drizzling here and she settles in. She seems very calm at the mo and is just happy taking in the new surroundings i.e ferrets etc. Will get her out tommorrow for a walk around the woods and fields and then start the training and let the fun begin.

If all goes well i should be picking up a female harris tomorrow off a friend, this years bird, already mannned, just needs bringing on to the next stage of training. Will get some pics up in the next few days of her, already named her Boadica. I still have Frodo who is still recovering from the injury to his leg, swelling and heat has now gone but he still has some hard bits around the ankle area which i think the vet wants to open up and remove as it is restricting his grip so i will update you on that after he has seen him on wednesday.

Last night i had this pop up bill saying please pay £49.99 from platte media, your free 3 day trial is now up and because it was not uninstalled on the last free day i have to pay the above quarterly...never heard of them and yet the icon is on my desktop...anyone else had this????

just seen one of me mates today who works for an avian pest company, he said come and have a look in me van, i brought one of me redtails out today. Now this female has mainly been used for breeding and not flown for a while, it's original flying weight i believe was around 2lb 5oz. Anyhow he pulled her out the pen a week or so ago and got her on the scales.......4lb 12oz...one hell of a cracking bird, should have taken a pic of her she's around 7 years old.
