    Had a wee black bitch that snapped her cruciate ligament and was out for about 7 - 8 month came back good as new....later she had her knee cap removed but it didn't hold her back any continued working up until she was 10....eventually took its toll on her though and she couldn't put her leg down when running

    Out this morning and couldn't get close enough for a decent shot....came across this otter but it was submerged and was only skimming the surface of the river got to within a few feet but as you can see it just headed down river when it heard the shutter from the cam.

He went to prison for absolutely nothing to do with religion....he wouldnt serve within the armed forces plain and simple.     This is not just having a go at you mate, but this about sums up everything that is wrong with this country. If everyone just told them to f**k off, there going to have fun rounding up the millions of dogs this country keeps. This is why unions where crushed. This is why hunting was banned. This is why the country is f****d, people sell their souls and jump through hoops. I won't pay for one, same as i've never paid a rod licence. Never have never will. Very well said mate...but all they will have to do is remove a few dogs and prosecute a couple of folk and the others will fall

    Maybe it would stop the irresponsible, but I think it would be too costly to enforce, well at least at first. I think if it were done properly it would be good, but how often has the local authority/government done anything properly. The thing is if its left to individual concils to set their own rate you could have all kinds of funny prices depending on where you live

    I wouldn't put it past them to have people who have dogs Impounded have to produce their licence to get their dogs back or RSPCA asking for licence if they turn up at your door with the police

    Read somewhere that they're thinking of re-introducing the dog licence and giving the Local Council's the power to set the fee. Now if this is true it generally means it's a money making scheme for the LA and there is the possibility of the owner's being fined or the dog being removed if said licence isn't bought. Given how successful it was the first time round I doubt it will take off but if they're serious and they bring in a law to make it compulsory like a tv licence for instance....how many would buy one...a dog licence not a tv licence
