think we start the barly cutting on monday. not long now

like the look of these. what cross are they.

mine had 12 last week but she only has 10 now. so i have currently have two litters of 10 and i had a litter of 10 last year. never had any problems.

been told the rabbits hick sand and them and block them in, dont know if its true or wheather the brurrows have just caved in but they ended up with two dead ferrets in one day.

had my pup out about 3-4 times now only giving 2-3 slips each time as dont want to break her heart. she is running great on lamp watching beem, she is also doing good while mooching knocking loads of rabbits out the bushes. but she just isnt striking. she is getting right behind the rabbits but not striking them. has anyone else had this problem, will it just happen or is it just one of these problems you get with some dogs.

I have a beddy whippet bitch 5 months old, until a week ago she was the most ignorant and timid pup i've ever seen but now its as if something inside her has just clicked. The only thing is she only stands at 16 inches and im only expecting another 2, if I were to buy another i'd get a beddy grey. mine was only 16 inches at that age and is nearly 21 now

prob not the reason mate,more likely just a bit of a yip as it has to make up a bit of ground to get back up on the bunny that's all,as said you will know a yapper when you hear it lol so do you think it sounds like yapping. or just the dog really trying

cheers for the replys. will tell him not to worry about it. i have also been thinking, it was also when the dog turned and was running towards the lamp. it may of been because the lamp was blinding the dog as it was not a bark by any means just a little cry 2 metres away from us and the hedge. just a thought.

only one run. it was not a loud yap just a little cry. but werent sure if that was classed as yapping

my [bANNED TEXT] says his lurcher never yaps and took me out for a look when he was out lamping. when the the dog was coursing a rabbit and the rabbit was about to hit the hedge 5meters away from us u heard the dog give a quiet cry. just wondering if u would u class this as yapping or not.

i was reading the countrymans weekly the other and the writters opion was that, if a dog did not have salukiin it,it would not catch a daytime winter hare often. i know years ago people also used deerhound but has anyone else owned a dog with neither of these two breeds in that often caught daytime hare. what cross was the dog and what hieght. will be interested to read the replys
