Sounds an interesting book.... I have a fasination with Tigers...they become man eaters because it is easy prey.... If there is nothing in the dogs foot creating the swelling (foreign object), could possibly be an interdigital cyst , some anti-fungal cream usually clears it up. Keep the foot clean and bathed in salt water every day. Had this problem before with a bitch and did the above with success.

Missus's Mini EBT had the same symtoms at a similar old age, as you say it wasnt bloat or nowt that could have been sorted, alot more serious, the liver had packed in. Hope its nothing serious though. Keep us posted.

No harm in it at all. I wouldnt use the reason "just to soak up liquid that comes off the meat" the dogs system will do that. Although dogs gain energy from fat unlike us humans use carbs, there is no harm in small doses like you mention using brown bread. IMO of course.

Heard the same about this stuff aswell AKA , until i googled a few articles and learned dogs can be allergic to bee pollen just like we can with the same effects. I didnt want to take the chance! Have only heard great things about the stuff...but after reading that maybe give it a swerve...cheers Mac No prob's AKA , heard a few bulldog men use it and also rate it very highly.
