Well i decided to ferret a hedge row that i mentioned in another post.So invited RHODEY off this site to see if he fancied a morning out. He said he will be here between 5-6 o clock,as is the norm he was late,landing about 6.30,the excuse was his landrover which he has just finished building would only do 55 mph top speed . So we set off to the field.First set of holes was a 4 holer,so nets down and ferrets in within 2 mins two rabbits in the nets Next set of holes was under the hedge,so we set purse nets on the holes we could get to(still too much undergrowth about)and then ran the stop n

Went ferreting on tuesday walking up the side of a hedge i saw a couple of wasp's thought nothing of it,carried on walking suddenly there was a few to many flying around me,looked down on the ground and there was a little hole and there was wasp's flying in and around it.I made a sharp exit . Was setting some snares about 2 years ago,it was early morning just getting light,i was hammering a peg in the ground,when suddenly there was a loud buzzing noise and the air was full of wasp's,i had hammered the peg right through the nest They was on my hands in my clothes everywhere,i just dropped th

Met my ex in a rock bar in nottingham,salution inn for folks who know it.She was a goth and i was normal Broke up 7 years later.This song reminds me of that.

I could not bring myself to eat one at any costs.I am going to snare the muck heap for fox soon,so i thought they would make a nice bait to draw the foxes in.Was going to snare it today but forgot its the good ladys birthday tomorrow and she as the day all planned out from the minate we get up ,so because i could not check the snares i did not set them.

As a moderator i would have thought that you would be there to help, not make simple comments, some people come on here to get advice and learn some thing that they would like to take up as a hobby or even at a later date a career, i have seen alot of your posts where u just say 'look through previous posts' There could be some new people on here with different info. personally after looking at your web page dont listen to what you write cause you put on your web page for a job you done some mice on. Was in asda last night with the missus and she sneaked a bar of chocolate in the trolly,so i mentioned it at the checkout and the girl behind the till said "i was weird and not normal"because i don't like chocolate.So is there anybody else out there thats like me WEIRD AND NOT NORMAL

Went to a field to snare a few hares(see snaring section)found a little 6 hole warren,ideal to get me started ferreting for the season. Took a white jill about 6 nets and my stop nets.Got to the warren put the purse nets down over the holes i could reach,some were right under the hedge.Put the jill in and waited,not a long wait a bit of thumping and wham a rabbit in the purse net,dispatched and seen it had myxi .The jill shown behind the rabbit turned round and went back in,reset purse net and waited,suddenly a bit of thumping and 2 rabbits bolted at once,1 hit a purse net and the other shot
