    Please lads take my advice i took my good lady out with me and this is how she ended up A badly sprained ankle after falling down a hole.I had to carry her and all me gear,by the time we got to the car i had 3 hernias.My life was over after that i had to do all the house work,shopping etc it was nice to have her out with me but never ever again

    Bodgerbear came up for ther first days ferreting(i wish he hadnt ),we decided to have a easy first day,so went to a farm where you can drive right up to the warrens and the undergrowth isnt to bad.Gets to the first sett and netted up,we then went for a brew while it settled down,bodgerbears decides he needs a crap so being the good host i am i gave him the roll of toilet paper out of the car so off he goes so we did the first sett and got 3 rabbits out of it,after picking the nets up i thought could do with a crap meself asked bodgerbear wheres the paper and you guessed it he had used it all

    Why you setting snares over the burrow entrance? snares are set on the runs. What made the rabbit bolt into that hole you snared? I just find it hard to belive that you was around the hole setting your snare and then a rabbit just happened to run into that hole...

    I have got the same rifle,fantastic bit of kit it is as well,mine was cut down when i bought it to 16",it is a nice rifle to handle and use,you will not be disapointed.

    Well saturday saw me painting the living room,now if there is one thing i hate its decorating lifes to short so after doing the room and waiting for the rain to stop i decided to have a wonder with my CZ BRNO .22 RIMFIRE. So gets up to the field,and got meself in a favourite sniping spot under the shade of a tall tree,the weather had warmed up quite a bit so i was glad of the shade.There is a hedge about 50 yards away which as a nice sized warren in it,so got settled in and waited,the end result was three rabbits and a pigeon,would have stayed longer but the horses had found me and was br

    Theres a couple of fields next to one of my permissions that has a few rabbits on it every time i go past,the thing was i couldnt find out who owned them.Then on sunday when i drove past i saw a young lady in one of the fields so went over for a chat.Got myself prepered on what to say,i asked her about the rabbits and said if they are causing you trouble i could help you out,she said when can you start,the fastest permission i have ever got i can ferret,shoot and snare,its got horses on at the min but they will be off soon she said.O happy days not a big place but a few rabbits on it.

    Nipped out last evening with the rimfire to see what was about,got in to a faourite spot of mine,in a hedge bottom over looking a grass field with a wood at the side.The rabbits come out of the wood to feed,so got sorted and waited about a hour later a rabbit popped out to feed,crosshairs on his head and bang down he goes.After annother half hour another rabbit pops out,bop down it goes,it went quiet for a bit then i heard a magpie shouting,he dropped in for a bit of rabbit he never got it,left it there to see if it would bring anymore maggies or crows in,but not this time.Saw a movement out t

    Well had BODGERBEAR(ROB) and REDEYE JEDI(porkpie) over for a mornings ferreting,the wind was blowing like mad,so we got to the first set and tried to set the nets,the wind was blowing crap all into the nets twigs and stuff which made the job a pain in the ass.So nets down and ferrets in,1 rabbit bolted after 5 mins abit of a wait and then 2 rabbirs bolted at once,by the this time the wind was getting stronger,no rabbits or ferrets had shown for about half n hour so out came the locators,PORKPIE got a mark at 1 foot and was happy till he started digging and realised my ground is made up of clay
