    to be honest mate as soon as you can they love company of their own.plus one full rabbit would be enough to feed two. Fill in your profile,where you come from,age etc somebody might be able to show you the ropes

    so i went back and put her in her bed after some praise and gave her the rabbit to feed on. Brought a tear to me eye . Well done mate glad you enjoyed it,likes been sadi though get another ferret they love company

    Well after having one of the worst xmas and new years ever,my mum was rushed into hospital on xmas eve with a lung infection which was not helped by her bad astma,so after spending every day up at the hospital,though i must admit there was some pretty young nurses , i decide a quick trip out was in order so i got the shotgun out and a ferret and went for a wander,just sticking to little setts.Got to the field did the first couple of setts nothing,still it was good to be out,on to the next sett ferret in and waited 5 mins three rabbit bolted at the same time didnt know which one to go for,its

    Another thl classic Right i come on here for a bit of peace and relax time,now i am assuming you have all had a nice xmas FACT, well i have been up the hospital all xmas because my mum is very ill and thats all i can think about at the mo,so when i come on here i dont wont to see a stupid fecking argument about you should have/should not have locators just get out no matter what and do your ferreting,i wish i could, so my point is STOP ARGUING ABOUT POINTLESS CRAP LIFE IS TO FECKING SHORT

    Good write up and pics mate Whats the buildings in the back ground is it a prison or housing estate?

    I always use markers no matter how many i set, normaly a feather pushed in the ground or a stick with tape on pointing towards the snare fence snares i'll use bailer twine or tape again.

    Went round me mum and dads for sunday dinner and he said he thinks theres a rat in his avairy,so went and had a look,there was two mounds of soil kick out so i said ill fetch a ferret and terrier,the terrier is not a working dog aprt from chases the odd rabbit and catchs mice in my shed she is more like a family pet.So back to the shed put the ferret in oneside off the shed so when the rat bolts it would be inside the outdoor flight no where to run.So we waited suddenly the rat bolted up the wire and onto a nest box level with my head,i must admit me arse was going abit poked it with a stick
