  3. The ferrets get the first rabbit of the day,after all if it was not for them i would not get any,then the rest i eat myself or give to family and friends.I keep the shot ones(shotgun) for the ferrets in the freezer,the ones shot with airifle i keep.

Hi mate you are doing most things right,is it the ferrets first time,if so they tend to go in then come out again keep at it with the ferret and he will soon get the hang of it.As for him not going down there could be many reasons why, the burrow could be floooded or it could be blocked,did you try him at another hole? As for clearing the undergrowth before ferreting the burys,yes rabbits will bolt but most will stay put because of the noise above,i normally clear mine the week before that way it gives the rabbits time to settle,then when you go ferreting a week later you just quietly approac

  13. I went for the 12-25" because some of the fields i shoot over have patchs of nettles and tussacks of grass and laying down on my belly i can not see over them.

Just a couple of pics just show my harris bipod that i bought today.I have fired a few shots in the back garden and can not fault it.I was a bit worried about fitting it on the rifle but it was a piece of cake.   17. Some people get asked by landowners to control the hares,and as coursing is banned how else are they going to control them,with snares,nets and gun or just tell the landowner you will not or cannot control them and lose that hard won permisson.I know what i would sooner do.
  18. I used to work for a cleaning company,and i asked for a black bin bag,and was told that we can not call them black bin bags anymore in case you upset ethic groups ,we had to call them refuse sacks. You couldn't make it up,its PC gone mad

Hi folks i am after a bipod for my aas410,i have been looking at the harris bipod swivel 27",i was just wondering if they are the best ones to get?also how do i fix it to the rifle i have a sling already on the rifle will the bipod fit over the same swivel for the sling or will i need a seperate fixing,please help thanks BIGEDDIE

  23. Went out for a quick hour with my aas410,managed to bag a pigeon,would have had a rabbit as well but i just fired air at it,somehow i didn't load a pellet in to the breach .
