  3. Well wheres the fun in that?! I personally liked Victor's Post!
  4. Try putting some rabbit blood (if you can get it) in a SEPERATE water bottle. If he will drink it the blood proteins should help healthen* him up a bit. You will need to change it for fresh very regularly however as it will thicken quickly and will probably clog up the valve. *word made up...
  5. Use old clothes for bedding, they arn't dusty like some substrates, can be reused by just sticking them in the washing machine when they start to smell, and can also be a good toy
  6. I know everyone always says as much space as possible is always better, but if its a young un' they can sometimes get a bit overwhelmed by it all if they have previously been kept in relativly small quarters. Same goes, keep checking theres no way it can get out.
  7. If you are keeping them in a hutch with a wooden floor, stick a slab of concrete or a slate or something in there. When they walk on it it will keep their nails shorter. Mine are kept on a completely concrete floor anyways so clipping doesnt really need to be done at all.
  8. if you cant wait to get shot of them, why pick them up in the first place Well its better him picking them up and at least trying to get them rehomed than them wandering onto a road and getting squished the next day.
  9. Whats wrong with showing someones generosity publicly? Mr. Moderator.... Well the post didn't originally say that he wanted to publically thank him, and to me it looked like a topic that didn't refer to anyone else. And I wasnt trying to get at him as you imply, I was just giving him a bit of advice. What's wrong with that? Mr. I crave conflict...
  10. not a bad bag overall good pics, and write up. cant wait to get some done myself...
  11. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hemp-Purse-Nets-pack...id=p3286.c0.m14 10 handmade, brand new, hemp purse nets for 16 quid. And you dont know until you try mate
  12. Well on Ebay the best I could find was 20 quid for 10 nets. I'd definatly say hemp is the best material. Nylon tangles so fecking easily its unreal. As long as you hang them up to dry after you have used them they will last ages. Why not have a go at making some yourself? There is a tutorial somewhere here, I'l get you the link.
  13. Ah well, get her to take the bugger to the vet if she's concerned about it. Personally I cant see that much swelling but only the vet will be able to tell if there is a problem or not. Good luck with it
  14. Looks knackered to me, that can make eyes swell up. Is it sleeping enough? Could another unknown condition be causing sleep deprivation?
  15. Awesome photos, and a good read too How many did you get in the end then?
  16. not bad for their first try, Ive got two kits starting this season
  17. Pretty much everything I've heard says 8 weeks is the minimum.
  18. Never seen one mate. The farmer said they cost a few quid.It collapses the burrow aswell he said.Gotta see this machine action im intrigued. You seen one working? I would imagine burning gas in a compact space would cause it to collapse mate.
  19. Good pics, looks like you've got a pretty good setup too. What is that white disc strapped to the wire?
