after LL's topic earlyer on in the year i thought id have a go at making some sloe gin. well, i picked what i thought were sloes only later to be told that they were bullaces. now i had a quick sip and tastes too sweet to me, sort of cough syrup'y. is it just a case of when i decant it to top up with gin to taste or do i add something else to counteract the excess suger etc?? the proper sloe gin however isnt too bad. cheers, maty.

there the nite stalker lamps, have a look on target sports website. only a few differences visualy from the lightforce but as jay said the wiring's supose to be better in them plus there cheaper than lightforce. just waiting for mine to arrive now.

by 3-5 hrs its allways strange as i guess people mean thats how long there out for, not how long they lamp for. a 10ah battery on the 50w bulb lazerlite will give you 2.4hrs continuous lamping from a full charge, but remember the batt will be totally out of juice by then. the lightforce having a 100w bulb will be half that time unless you fit a 50w bulb. to get around 5 hrs continuous use you will need around a 21-22ah'er if they come in that size, obviolsy double the size on a 100w bulb i dont rate the rigid battery packs either, a bit too uncomfy for me. belt mount in a canvas

in my oppinion the beam is quite longer and as tight as the striker. i collected it mate from target sports so wouldn't know postage? Also this lamp seems like it could withstand a bang a lot stronger that striker Cheers CP sounds good. just checked, only thing is postage is 7 quid. still cheaper than everywere else but ive got a working lazerlite so will have a think. sounds a good lamp though. cheers for the help fella, maty.

how do you find it CP, the beam like compared to the lightforce?? how much was postage on it aswell if you dont mind me asking? was lookig at either getting one of these or a S/H lightforce. cheers,

i use the 350d and its great, if youve got 400 quid to spend would imagine you could get the camera cheap off ebay and put the rest towards a decent longer lense, bag, memory card etc. have a look for the canon outlet on there, called canon uk emerald or something like that. if you have no luck let me know and ill find you the link mate. i paid under 300 for my 350d with 18-55 lense and that was a fair while ago so should get some right bargains now. allso comes with a warenty when bought from the canon outlet cheers,

had mine drop down the council gritter once. i got the hair dryer on it and left it on the boiler for a few days minus the batt cover, batt etc and it was fine. wouldnt try tuning it on too early though, good luck

you'll have to thank P&G for this, i just copyed and pasted. Firstly take two strands of wire off your snare and twist it tight to make it into a four strand snare.Six strands are too thick.For squirrels you want your snare set up at 41/2" high then make a small hole derectly under the noose and push a small jump stick (about as thick as a match) into the branch sticking up 21/2".To attach your snare get a length of 3mm galvey fencing wire and bend it into a U shape the width of the branch you are snaring on.Staple the wire onto the branch to make a hoop.Half hitch your snare onto the
