  2. I did a course after passing my test mate and got taught how to do it "properly" then but I think it should come in the driving training. They teach you about checking oil, coolent etc so why not how to get going once broken down - tyres, jump start and other basic stuff. You like a camp man then BC

Let me know if you manage to get the clip up mate. Yes you could although I doubt you would want to wet your flys on my river when you have them big brownies
  5. If I was going past and could see you knew what you were doing I wouldn't of asked if you need any help. Knowing my luck i would find a front leader for women's rights who would try and give me the 3rd degree on women and how they can change a tyre! If on the other hand it was plain to see you were struggling or didn't have a clue then that's another matter. Saying that though how can anyone NOT know how to do it

And I thought I was doing well with 30 odd Mind you if you have the right dry fly for the job it would be easy enough Saying that though I don't think I would want to get that many from the river on my doorstep, unless it was being re stocked with bigger fish It's nice to go down there and catch a couple but it could easily be cleaned out. Theres plenty on google Murph - Brinded, Magnum...

Half an hour in the oven should heat it nicely.... as long as it's live fed There looks like a golden in the top left of the pic too. There's a few of them were In a place I visited recently The trout weren't any size really - infact very small to eat. I've probably caught bigger gudgeon!! Still you see the pikeys down there with a few in the summer and it's nice to be there at the river with fish underneath me in under 2 mins. There was a couple bigger than average fish but all could be lifted straight up and out of the water right away. I once caught one that was a very nice size for

It was an organic carp farm - They fed the lake with shit which grew algae, bugs came for the algae and then the carp eat the bugs. I think there may of been another bug involved but back to the point the owners are getting about half there food for free and charge more as It's organic. Win win situation I imagined them to catch them a bit different to how they did. It was like a big keep net that the fish went down. He never mentioned bait just inquisitiveness. They then put them in the fresh water for 5 days before eating. He had a few people there eating the carp with him and allot gave th

You always make me laugh M He did a blind taste test with the fella who farms the live food trout and he could taste the difference. He said it was much more cleaner and moist compared to the pellet fed. The pellet fed fish had really orange pink flesh (you know what I mean) were as the live fed fish was a lot paler almost white when it was on the plate. He said the colour was from the additives in the pellets. I'm off to catch the last bit - he's cooking carp

Just watch for brambles You not got sky M? Hugh Fernley whippingstool is on doing a fish program. It's just had trout on showing it being fed on live food, and how the meat differs compared to pellet fed.

Look on the bright side, you could be left to fish, navigate and hold the keep net

Can you swim M? Still it would save pumping the dinghy up if you had cooper's new quick set - or even not bothering with the dinghy, running the net round the outside and blanking
