Good post Johnny. With yetserdays win I can see England stepping up the gear. Germany look strong, but so would Luton Town if they played the teams they had in their group. Argentina, dirty players, they have a hobbit for a manager, their defense is rubbish. Spain dont impress me and rely on one player to get them to the finals, they will be knocked out next round. Brazil look very well sorted, but their defense at times has been shocking, and an easy group really. Portugal, nothing really to say about them, they still need to proove themselves. Uruguay look

Rooney! I just cannot see this team turning it around. Capello, the way he's going will have a heart attack trying to sort this side out! No team work last night, fitness levels were poor, strikers were lame, passes were utter shambles. They were lucky they played a team like algeria who were also poor at finishing because any other team would have put England to bed.

Well what a game! Cracking goal as per usual from Gerrard, however they need to sort there defence out, and change that Green if they want to get further in this comp, and I'm sure Mr Capello will make sure of that. Maltenby, thats spot on.
