Hybrids are fetching £15 to £20, and pushing the pure breeds up to £30 £35 plus each. Welsummers £35! Marans £25 try phoning and they say they have sold out! Who says there is no money in poultry keeping! With all these food programmes on the TV about small holdings etc.. the prices of poultry and the demand has blown through the roof! Bovan Nervas, suffolk/plymouths, columbines, warrens, leghorns, all very good layers and hardy birds.

Doesn't matter what you wear. I would never wear trakie bottoms tucked in socks with kappa trainers. I will always wear my walking boots and if it's really boggy i'll wear my wellies. As for bottoms, I wear mole skins, or army bottoms (loads of deep pockets) both are tough,they keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and they are cheap to buy nowadays! I'ts not about image, it's about what your comftable with when your out there doing it.
