I shoot rifles too, and Dave you are totally right in what you say. I'd say I'm now 50/50 with using rifle and dogs. I enjoy both, be it plinking rabbits to trapping, lamping rabbits with dogs. I have friends who do not have dogs but shoot and vice versa, I also have friends who just fly hawks. Like Dave has said, not everyone gets granted a FAC, there are important aspects to learn whilst owning a FAC and a lot of responsibility on your shoulders. I load my own too, and their is some skill required to use them. Remember, Squeeze do not snatch boys!

I do it all the time for my fire places, espeacially in the summer when hedges are trimmed. I'll go with a ruck sack and fill up for kindling. If your on common land then by right take the lot. But common land is hard to find these days, or lets say hard to detect wheather it is or not. You'll find that Rangers will leave piles of wood cut at the side of the road on purpose (they can't be arsed to drive back to the yard and lug them off) and mysteriously the logs disappear in the night. Yer its a good portrayal, and also shows how the skinhead movement was hi-jacked by a minority of racist thugs. Very true. The root of ska music is from black soul music, mods all got on with each other wheather you were black, white, brown, or pink. The series looks as good as the first. It may well give the wrong impression to some, but a true mod will know that isn't the case Enjoy the series.

Always on Foxy, even at bedtime and story time. They can reduce an injury. Not noticed my dogs run/strike differently with them on. Yes control is the key really. Well said Malt!

A little silly placing a deposit on the rifle without the grant issued and in hand. There are loads of reasons why one is refused, sometimes it can be a minor problem to us but major to a police force. Bans can vary for each individual and it's case.

You should do well with them. Most light sussex hens around today are more frame and feather slim eggy birds instead of a good English meaty bird.

OK.....Maybe a bigger lobworm then. I'll get me coat. lol, the lobworm isnt felt on the lift bite method, its the swan shot which is lay on the bottom, with a good tail leading to your lob, so thier is plenty of float, showing, so that the lob doesnt sink it..... Thats a fine example of a healthy perch. Well done.

It's common sense really. Pups should be left alone to be pups. They will distinguish what is what in their own time. Its natural instinct, if you like,all we do is tame them down so they show respect, and what's right from wrong. I wouldn't mention distance to the FLO, they will see this as a un professional approach, and a danger. Maybe say the rabbits need shooting as there is no other way of controlling them on the said land, and that the rabbits are very shy, so a rifle would be best suited to control the numbers. I'd go for a Rapid 7, I have one on ticket at stupid ft-lbs near enough a rimfire. Very good rifles, very silent (I use a Logun silencer), and very accurate, but need to bring the tank with me though and a spare buddy bottle. Go for a rimmy, less hassle.
