For Mitsubushi animal/warriors, the pre 2002 models are the ones to go for. I have a few friends also with these and are pretty much faultless. The ECU's have problems with the later models.

Stewie, you will never beat hands on experience. Authors write books because they have a passion to write and share their experiences and thoughts with the reader. It's the time and place to put all your thoughts in a permanent place. There are many types of writers, but to be an article writer, i.e (Hunting Books), you have to be very opinionated, and know your material and facts very well to succeed. Anyone can make up a book these days, but that doesn't mean you become an author/writer. To become an author is another kettle of fish all together.

They are the best days. Getting mucky, eating sandwiches, drinking lemonade, and learning the ways of the countryside. I wouldn't have it no other way.

It's a lovely photo album. I had the book out on Christmas day to show family and friends from abroad, and again on Boxing Day (Local Hunt). Mixed comments as expected with any book. That's the fun of writing one or two. I'm with Johnny, I do like a good read coupled with Some photo's, and yes a picture can tell a story or two. Photo's do sell these days, and people want to see photo's in their books that they buy. This photo album certainly whisked me back to memory lane.

What ever you choose, have it serviced on a regular basis. That way your mechanic will find any problems that may arise. Land Rover Defenders and Mitsubushi Animal/Warrior I can only comment on. They are all tough trucks.

I admire your honesty. Hitting a dog isn't going to teach any dog to trust you. You say from "Day one" why was the dog a problem then? What have you done to solve the issues? Food usually works to train any dog, coupled with lots of calm talking, petting, and socialising. A dog wandering around for seconds is a danger to other road users let alone the dog itself, and two hours! This dog could condemn an early death, and even worse you going to court for neglect. I would go back to basics with this dog before giving up, however the problem may not be with the dog, but it'
