Wilf is the one you recommend fairly compact, mine is huge as well as being a real pain to put up. I thought I would need the space, but in reality it just means I can't fit it into a normal swim

I bought some cheap once and they did not melt. What a waste of money and 3 months sat around with a load of goo sat on top of my bait. By all means find a bargain but make sure you test it when it arrives. Sorry if it sounds like I'm teaching you to suck eggs.

I have decided I definitely need a new bivvy, one like yours looks perfect Wilf. Mine take ages to put up and take down which is a real pain. Do you find that the camo sleeping bag stops the carp spooking when you are snoozy pops Wilf? edit: Just checked the price £370

Hopefully I have a pup due in approx 3 days, I have spoken to the breeder and they want £200. Fair enough in my eyes, you can't get something for nothing and if you can't find the money to buy the pup what will you do when it needs to go to the vet?

I thought so, but thanks. Finally is anywhere particularly cheap to get them refilled? One of the cylinders is marked flogas, the other calorgas will this matter as to where I get them refilled. Thanks for not nodding off. Mart

I have aquired three gas cylinders 2 propane 13kg and 17kg, one butane 7kg. I have the following gas powered items never used. Gas BBQ Patio Heater Camping Stove All of these have regulators which do not fit the cylinders which are all empty. Does it matter which cylinder I use, at the moment I am tempted to just go out and buy a regulator and get the 7kg butane filled. Is this the most boring topic in history?

I need to get top ring replaced on spinning rod. Caught it on the ceiling in waterloo toilet - don't ask.. Anyway need somewhere around north hampshire to do a good job, any recommendations??

Hi Big Mal,I remember we were both posting on BTW at the same time and both got the same reaction - anyway this site is a million times better, and not full of middle aged women in self knitted jumpers with paw prints on. I have certainly found people on this site to be very helpful and had a great night out lamping with some guys off here a couple of weeks back. Although some of those that were most unhelpful do post, e.g. D B.
