i agre baldie, and for me the superdomes were (are) the ultimate pellet....but i have tired long range gold and found them to be very very good and so flat.....killed a LOT of game with LRG's and i only started using them last year!!!!...

the projectile type is less important than the accuracy of its -placement. give me a domed head anytime, i do not rate the pointed types. When we were kiddies we used to think that these pointed ounes penetrated better, but i dont beleive that to be the case now. A domed head will fly better and be more accurate. But, to be honest, if your hitting them in the head it dont really matter

the dunkeld is over-rated....very! the greenwells is the most perfect wet ever devized and i have used it extensively......the simplicity of it is its key and when tied in a correct and clinical manner they look very very nice....its not the biggest or the brightest flies that take the most skill, but those that require a nice, even tight wing....with nothing to hide any imperfections... ...IMHO it is a fly that cannot be improved upon for the northern trout streams in may...save perhaps for the partridge and orange..... but then again, neatness and perfection, i feel, is of little note to

i honestly think that is the CA had made a huge donation to the ;labour party 7 years ago we would have still being doing this...what happened was that the animal rights etc put labour mp's on their staff as "consultants"...and thats where it has all started, because, whether you like it or not, it is a CLASS issue....our enemies hate the very thought of "Toffs" dressed in red, riding around the countryside chasing a "poor" fox with a load of hounds.....

ive tied the odd one in my time.....in fact, i never ever fly fish with anything other than my own hand made ones......is the bottom one some kind of stoats tail varient? and i like the hackled PTN....a bit like the flies that i tye for my local still water....those little brown jobs really fool the rainbows.... ..come on smudge, lets have a look at your attempt at a greenwells glory, the wing detail will show your skill..... nice flies mate...well done

The fact of th matter is that this bill cannot be inforced. it cannot be policed. it is inaffective....THANK GOD it was drafted by people with no idea about genuine dog work. we can all carry on as usual, but obviously, keeping within the law. so whats changed? very little. the couring lads are probably the worst effected and my heart goes out for them, but if they have permission then they can continue. Poachers (not that i know any) will have to be that little bit more careful i guess, but i feel the foxhunting fraternity will get the most of the attention from the "Hunt monitors" etc etc...

Just thinking, if a white person were to call a person of mixed race a "N*gger" then they would be "racist", then why is it OK for a coloured person to call another coloured person a "N*gger"? surely, that is racist? I heard a few homies on the street calling each other it the other day and thought it was quite strange?
