I heard a cuckoo is a long , thin strip wood on saturday. i had a wlak this afternoon with a view to photographing a treecreeper sat on her nest only to find the bark pushed out and the nest pulled right out. i wonder if the cuckoo would have been to blame. i know the treecreeper has small eggs and the cuckoos would be much larger , but its not impossible.....what do others think?

Have you all looked at this thread? 50 posts! we all care desperately about the shitehole that this country has become and is drowning in. I don't think most of the BNP could count their fecking fingers, but have you seen how bliar and the rest are running scared in case the BNP get votes? Vote for 'em as a protest vote at least rather than not vote at all. Everyone who doesn't vote is giving bliar and the cycling yuppie their paycheck. Go on, vote BNP and watch them squirm. The press are ranting and raving about the BNP at the mo. Do any of you guys think they can possibly make an impact?. i speak to alot of people and it seems that they are sick of the way this country is and are going to vote BNP from now onwards. Im not just talking about one or two people, i mean a good few, and these are not hutning folk neither, they are just the man in the street. So...have they got a chance or winning many seats???

i had a walk with scoob today. two fat squirrels was the bag. i shot the male last week and now i have bagged both females. hopefully no more will move in as i am watching a tree creeper and hope to photograph it rearing chicks.....obviously, the squirrel is the tree creepers worst nightmare for it nests under little slivers of bark and the squirrels find their nests with comparative ease. not these two.....

having put many nest boxes up this spring i was most concerned when i found a squirrel had been eating its way in. in my woods i just never see a squirrel anymore, and i couldnt find where this one lived. after several days hunting i eventually saw an old clump of twigs high in a silver birch. i killed a squirrel from there last season when i think back. however today i fired into the nest and nothing came out. because i was nearly at the car i fired my full mag off into thr drey and was amazed when a squirrel flopped out dead, followed by another. i quickly swapped mags and levelled the secon
