    How do i

you just got to be careful.....if a lass chats to most blokes they immediatly think that "she fancies me"...and thats when the more complicated and embarrassing things occur........lol and vice versa... personaly i wouldgo out, but ensure your body language didnt ooze "Flirtatious"......and just watch he doesnt put something in your drink ......good luck......
  3. my cousin has him. i could get him back but it would not be right as i gave him the dog after his own had to be PTS. He is catching an awful lot of tackle with it at the moment. lucky b*****d
  4. I am too mate. i NEVER sleep in the woods as one day i decided to have a little kip, the next minute a fox tried to crawl up my nostrils...it thought it had found an artificial earth!! i know Ian has had same trouble also....
  5. With no lurcher i have to pass the time of day away so had a walk with a pals terriers and had some royal sport....... the bag was small but the enjoyment was large... pic thl hh
  6. top class red trim....
  7. good on you JOE.... you did the right thing and went to a specialist. Looking at the xrays i reckon your dog will be well on the road to recovery and probably "bouncing" to run come xmas....nows the hard part....stopping the little fricker trying to run before it can walk....so to speak...lol...... guys, just another word about prices....the vets always put a huge price in if the pet is insured. its a well known fact and they take the piss with the insurers. If you have an excess to pay, and you are on good terms with your vet see if you can come to some arrangment with them I would be g
  8. Yes, im aware of that thanks JD The purchasing game birds bit was about any BOP Imo though its still wrong to wipe out a whole species just for the greed of mankind MOLL. Oh sorry for the mis-understanding.
  9. good luck JOEB, please keep us informed on the dogs recovery. I like to hear a happy ending. To all those that insure their dogs, cheap isnt always best. read the small print. some may only insure you for "First" treatment etc......they are all out to get your coin and dont want to give it back! I will ask one of my pals what they recommend is the best insurance and why, the market is awash with these companies at the moment. I have never had pet insurance so i am not an expert, but i know a few that are. I will report back with their opinions on what are the best.
  10. molly, i think the problem is that grouse (on the whole) have to be wild as they cannot be reared in a true fashion as yet. Therefore, they have to be bred on the moor and not "bought|".

I wish him a speedy recovery.
  12. i got them all and i think they are the best you will find for representing working dogs.
  13. the most roe i have seen together in my area has been 5....but....i live in an area where there are not that many roe, and the ones there are are under pressure but when hunting the places in norfolk area there is a huge population of roe and i have seen as many as 16 in one field, they were not in the same "group" as such, but were over a hundred yard area....give or take. The density of deer ranges enormously over the uk...some places there are deer in every field, others there are no deer for tens of miles. (even though the habitat is perfect.). there was a hell of alot down in hampshire
  14. Joe.....spend the money, get the best. Your dog will start to put its foot down soon enough. Let it rest for 8 weeks, but walk it from 5 weeks a little. The muscle wastage will look aweful, but dont worry about it. Your dog should be running rabbits on soft fields by mid febuary, so you will get a couple of weeks out of it....unless you wish to wait until next season... personally i would be running the dog as soon as it looks right. Plenty of muscle on those back legs. Give it a good balanced diet and it should heal up just fine and dandy. keep your chin up, i know how you feel..... JD
  15. Its not what they look like matey, its what they run like.
  16. the thigh bone at least has plenty of muscle around it. I would go for the pin rather than plate if at all possible, and if you want to give your dog the best chance of recovery. I have had 2 dogs break their legs, one went on to make an amazing recovery and the other didnt. good luck, JD

I have seen the odd transvestite over the years too...lol....and i once was lamping, many years ago now when i was about 16 and i saw something very very odd. i dont know what it was but it was a "white" figure... i shit my pants.....i really did......hiding behind a small pile of rocks, opinel in hand......shitting it.......lol..... such is our h
