your probably right mate but its up to us as parents and role models to show and learn the younger generation the way of the country side the need for pest control that's why id have no hesitation take youngsters out and showing them the ropes as long as they where polite respectable and want to lean ask any my kids about pest control and what hounds terriers and so on are used for they will be able to tell you and about the need for them in the countryside and the two older ones don't hunt or have any interest

Jesus every year threw the summer its the same old shit with the same question being thrown around I can't wait for the season to start but in the mean time its just about keeping them fit health and taking the edge of them thankfully I don't have any the famous names know much about them good luck for the rest the summer

my new whip for this season am sure she will be having the odd dig this season she loves the hounds and she can't wait to cubbing starts in September

this time next season ill know better its all about trying to build on what I already have here at the minute so with a bit of luck we will get plenty digging for the terriers next season

hi all was thinking of going over to the Peterborough hound show is it worth the trip and is it only on for the one day as couldn't find that much info

they all learn there trade in theses places be they mixers or hard types and they don't need all be deep know a few rangy places with very few ends it takes a good dog to dig them

with age come experience so the more experience the deeper more difficult the earth should be the rule sure thats the way it is for a terrier if only young terrier lads had the same thought process then there might not be as many failed first season dogs

they cross them that much theses days and if they come out black or brindle they are Dutch if red or fawn Mali lol to tell you the truth bird I wouldn't touch a police dog if it was being give to me what lads use for pp work and what police have are worlds apart I know of two dogs out are club that went to the police and when getting assessed scored very highly but they where lacking for pp work and where told straight the reason they where not gonna make the grade for the lads that owned them
