  1. another great weekend both hounds and terriers getting abit of work
  2. no sure if you can use it on pup of that age ask your vet but auldex best stuff I've ever used
  3. the harrier bitch I got of Pete I offered him it back but that foxhound bitch I got is improving ever times she is out thats her in the second picture
  4. is there no packs local that hunt boar I'm sure France is full of them

I don't think there will be many private pack racing across to hunt boar as if like are own if they hunt anything other that fox they wouldn't be here long but I know a local foxhound pack to me had a great 14 mile hunt at a unbelievable pace they thought it had went to ground in a rock pile only to find out it was a billy goat lol I could get you there number
  6. with the season just around the corner its time to up the distance and peace on the bike hounds are reasonable fit already cant wait to get out into the hills at first light

Me and This dog served are apprenticeship together got him at six weeks at six year old the vet told me he had heart mumur and fluid in his lungs advised me to pts or keep in house and on pill the rest his life so I told the vet id pts he told me sure take him home and come bk tomorrow so of lamping we that night we had a decent night and never went bk to vet for another 3 years and id say we hunted 4 days a week taking most stuff

  11. definitely no hindrance it keeps me sane no better feeling than watching your own hounds working hard across open ground then marking to ground makes all them early mornings and late nights worth it
  12. they are mainly feed on chicken carcasses and thighs at the min just because it very hand got and plenty of it and cheap but but once the cooler weather come i feed more beef
  13. to many people watching youtube seeing then in them stupid trails and thinking its the same in the ground
  14. to me its a full time job but then again I've a pack of hounds up exercising at 530 washing out and so on then feeding and quick walk in evening then there is the hassle of sorting the days out out
  15. would love to see a good one digging I had a couple and where dirt and out off top stuff so if you ever fancy s Dig give me a shout
  16. all you can do is try mate if all eles fails apart from moving to another part the country then just keep doing as you are just keep putting stuff in front the dogs and try your best not to get caught and if you do just make some excuse be polite and you never know

I do a few shoots myself the same applies speak to the shoot committee offer to help out on shoot day or give a hand when fixing pens and so on trust goes a long and once they know your the right sort and will vouch for you when you approach other farmers or shoot just don't f**k it up cause bad news travels faster then good news

I don't know what area your from but I've never had a problem gaining permission be it when I've kept running dogs coursing lamping and so on now I keep terriers and a pack of foxhound so need permission now more than ever it all about the way you approach the land owner and the way you present your self and yes what you wear I know it sound silly but first impressions are everything your not gonna let a foul mouthed chav cut your grass if he asked but if a well mannered fella well presented approach you then you may well think about it
