  8. would love to see that go threw a concret floor or a pile of rock robert You wouldn't get one of those sharp tooth prongs through a pile of rocks, a prong is just a handy tool to break out shale, gravel and hard ground so you can shovel it out, if you need to break out rocks or concrete use a bar just buy one and try it out this season see what you think and what it will break up robert
  9. would love to see that go threw a concret floor or a pile of rock robert

  13. Robert, Agreed - I have a suggestion - let us all come on here on under our own names and put our points of view openly and up front and let us IGNORE or OSTRACISE those who can only peddle abuse from behind an alias. Albertj im all up for that from day one on here ive alway came under my own second name and always sign my first name at the bottom of my posts robert
  14. every one on this site and round the dog world thinks we are a laughing stock all this bitching slagging off he done this he done that if you have a problem see the parson face to face there is no need to air it for the world to see at one time in ireland we where well resepcted for breeding some the best working dogs in the world be it digging dogs coursing dogs and strong dogs just to name a few now we are getting laughed at knowen for all this bitching and all the shite that goes on at shows are sport is going down the pan thanks alot lads robert
  15. once again im saddened by the state of the lurcher and terrier seen in n ireland its really a disgrace all for the sake of a trophy for myself ive been going to lurcher and terrier shows for 15 years or so and to tell you the truth i have no intrested in atteding another the lurcher racing seen has attracted a great deal of new comers over the last few years and want to get to the top and this is where alot of greyhound types come in but me ill stick to my working dogs keep my head down and get on with my sport robert

  18. a very good first post there are alot of small beagle packs over here but as has already been said they are more for pushing foxes out of cover to lurchers than real hunting robert
  19. they where fine looking animals regardless of there size really like the big black colored dog really long type of hound bet he can move would loveto see them out in the field robert
  20. . Type !!! It's either welsh or not i say type because they look like welsh hound but there is english foxhound and near sure harrier in them also robert
  21. you have hit the nail on the head there i seen a pack yesterday of welsh hound type some real big dogs but really looked the part are they getting to big? i dont know as im really only getting into hounds the last few years and have only are own pack up and running from last season so im still learning the ins and out but i do like the smaller type for the ground i hunt tight cover and fields but if i was hunting open moors hill and the likes of that i would go for a bigger quicker hound in my eyes you pick your type of hound to suit the land you hunt all the best robert
  22. pen and strep mate you wont go to far wrong with that good stuff but please do some research into the amount you need for your dog there is a usefull book out think its call the vets hand book will give you everything you will ever need to know robert
