    Many moons ago, I was an off road driving instructor in the Lake District, with a company that is no more.(Unfortunately) I have done most, if not all types of offroading for work and pleasure, I still off road for pleasure. (when the kids let me) In my opinion the most important things on an of road vehicle are the tyres, ground clearance and the driver. I have tried all most all the off road vehicles on the market, not all, in the extreme situations that i have put 90's or 110 's through though. I did miltary testing for Torsen differentials, I trained most of the utility companies

    I tend to scruff my dogs, and talk sternly, without complication. No!No! The dog accepts that as a dominant action, not aggresive action. You shouldnt loose respect from the animal for that.

    Controversial opinion...but ...use a sandbag on the front as well as the back..Take the bipod out of the equation..you may be surprised. Get some Caldwell bags.cheap as chips. Then as allready mentioned drop down in bullet weight..take off mod..etc Matt

    My weekness is nice food and drink..(whiskey especially) I like to cook, so if I see something that I can buy to make a nice meal, I do.... My other weekness are, if I see a pile of logs at the road, I have to stop and pick them up. :blush: Many a time I have relocated logs, to pick them up later, and gone back with a trailer at night time. Best places to look are at the roadside when yo see people tree working..they allways leave their logs..its great.. unless its on the side of the motorway......then its more difficult.... oh..and i do like the lasses.... :friends:

    I'll give you the benefit of 20 years... 1. If you miss, you need to change what you did the first time....you wont hit it the second time 2. Make sure you..move..mount..shoot. 3. Buy cheap cartridges..spending more money. means your misses, cost more. 4. Dont stop the movement when you pull the trigger.. if you stop ..you miss. 5. you know everything at your age..but get a lesson and someone to stand behind you when you miss.. 6. wear ear defenders, because i'm deaf from teaching newbies how to shoot..     I have to say Jim's lifestyle is the closest to any person's that I have met that can claim to be self sufficient.. I do as much as i can, but no way near Jim's efforts.. I can only but try to emulate his lifestyle, unfortunately my family are cash hungary at present, so a full time job is an essential requirement.

    No, i sent me mother a dvd..ordered Tuesday..arrived Friday. So amazon came up with the goods for me this year.. They even gift wrapped it and wrote a little message for me.
