  1. Just been told that v-mach are going to be tuning these rifles so i might give them a bell and find out the price
  2. Does anyone know of a tuning firm that tunes these rifles?Ive just had a few shots with a mate and for the money its a very good springer.I found the gun very similar to a hw95 which is one of my favourite rifles
  3. Has anyone got any pics of a swing perch they would recommend for a hh
  4. Horses for courses Adeyhawk! I had a male Ferruge as my first bird. I'd be the first to say it was the hardest bird to man down that I've ever had but once I got it flying it was brilliant. Just joking mate, they are exellent birds and are as you have said very hard to man down and they do use their beaks as weapons. If you look at the amount of open ground these birds need and the fact that they wont fly in wooded areas at all then imagine how much harder it is to fly an eagle.I have seen goldies that fly in woods but im not sure of any of the other eagles
  5. Tell him to try a ferruginous hawk first(begginers eagle). It put me of eagles for life
  6. I WILL OFFER YOU £50 Like my mum used to say if you havent got anything nice to say shut the f**k up
  7. He seems to be getting better but ive lost about 3 weeks flying I will have to make sure the rats are gone before i fly him at ducks next time.Ive heard from a few falconers that feeding rats helps clear up any infections, anyone tried this?
  8. You could also try chicken farmers themselves.I necked about 20 cockerals that had gone off their legs today, all fresh this morning thats a lot of good meat gone to waste.Good for feeding ferrets as well
  9. Beautiful pictures, like i said these dogs are a credit to you, thankyou Adie
  10. Hi keeps any pics of the pups more grown up?They look very well and are a credit to you
  11. Good looking harrises, there a credit to you
  12. Ive been flying my male hh for a similar time but as yet ive still to catch a pheasant.Weve caught 4 moorhens,1 mallard,1woody,1 squirrel and 2 brown rats. The squirrel was not flown on purpose and luckily the hawk only received a small bite onhis leg above his anklet. The rats were btaken while hunting ducks at a pond. The first one was taken without a problem but the second one was biting the hell out of the hawks feet(and my hand). Its taken about a month of rest and antibiotics to start to clear up the infection in his feet
  13. After all the fighting and bitching its nice to hear something good

  19. I used to use a .25 supersport for shooting the jackdaws that tried to nest in my grandads chimney.A shot from the .25 would knock them clean of the chimney pot without them falling down the chimney
  20. I dont think you will get a more honest answer than this
  21. I also hear a lot of diving shops are goin bust so perhaps a pump could be a better option.A mate of mine recently told me if your a good shot with a springer you will be a great shot with a pcp but not the other way around. What do you think
  22. Tried to get my son into it but at 14 hes only interested in girls and becoming a rock star
