    iv e got a vw tiguan,love it,but scout also a good motor aswell,I had a freelander 2 before vw and was sh~te on fuel mid 20s 30 mpg at best,really,,id buy a cheap 4x4 and a £30 a year tax & mega mpg little motor,,

    I know the lad who owns bitch,shes a great worker and I haven't seen many chocolate labs work at all,its his good friends red dog and he wanted a pup,but as no one they knew had done those 2 colours before,they didn't want faults or bad pups so that's why the thread was started in the first place,and I really don't think it is about the pound notes as someone said,thats why question was asked first,,,

    I found them excellent if dogs been off with a injury as you control how fast and far you want dog to run,and not tearing about whilst excercising and hopefully getting dog back in shape gradually and not risking further complications with injury,,

    Lad who is selli ng it has another dog in pictures if you take a closer look,and he joined preloved on 14th may 2014,,shame for the bitch,,looks a decent animal,but someone he knows would of snapped the dog up,its now up for £50 ovno,I daresnt show missus or ill be on way to Stockton,,

    Ive known lads do it,but although pups look alright,they just behave differently than normal,,legs twitching,a bit numb,and as VOON has said excitable and to nadd annoying around holes and a bit more highly strung,than normal,,i know someone smart arse is going to say they want terriers on the edge,but not for me,if I have a cryier around the hole,its tied up way out of way or put back in box if motor or quad close enough,i can tolerate a whinge and a bit whimpering,but no screamering,,

    get up to borders,them river bed rocks aint to pleasant,,its bone hard bar work,and the fork helps loosen,then a good roundmouth to clear out with,,ive just paid £55 for a torch,its the bollox,i thought until I found them on ebay for £40,so bought digging partner one for birthday,,has a 18" flexi neck on it,great for between rocks and not getting bit..

    OHH yes,im same with russells,,I like to wipe my hands on grass if badly chalked,,ive upset a few shall we say,,i don't do it,and if I did need to do it,,hmmmm lets think maybe my line aint 100% perfect,i need to get rid of this pissy tan colour and get some proper ginger thru my lines,,blood red,fox red,call it what you want but don't dye to get it..

    HA HA,that's one thing im happy with,i think its nice n easy colour number 54,all come out the same,,,on a serious note I judged cock ov north a few years back,and shall I say the colours on my hands were no ones business,and the ENHANCED terriers shall we say ran for cover when it rained,some nicely turned out terriers until the heavens opened,,

    Top post voon,I used to keep working bulls,and mine was denied becoming a champion by his own father,so the mating wasn't repeated again,and hopefully we all breed for better,,if we are all honest DOG MEN,all our lines will lack something,mine are a bit more brains(hold back and bay) and as said dog pup ive kept I need to add a inch or 2 allround on mine,jacket and nose fine,but like I said I think honestly that all lines lack something,,or are yous all 100% happy with what you breed??

    Top class and informative post by your man VOON,,there has been some really good posts about this subject,,its helped me,im going to try and print VOONS post,laminate it and stick it on my fridge,,and as marshman says,are any of us right and wrong?? some of us are kennel blind,type blind,brred blind,but they suit the each of us individually,how poor would life be if we all liked the same..

    the man in conversation is in my opinion must be one of the nicest old school terrier man I've met, if he don't like you, he WILL tell you,face to face if he gets the chance,no messing about with the man,you want something you pay for it,makes me and my family most welcome everytime we go down and kids always leave with something from him,and I get to spend hours looking thru dog photos and listening to fantastic craic,

    To GTE, yeah mate, and then I drove to him, I got the bullx pat bitch off him, put it to a cracking working pat dog, them pups were bitty missy, the pup I kept was hot and cold so gave to lad up Scotland, good ratting dog, but not to good in a hole,2 others I know of doing ok,and last 2 are in k9 heaven,,spewers apparently,but I never saw them work so cant comment,,
