No i didn't mean or hint at him not being british. An example is say lennox lewis who has dual citizenship ship between the uk and Canada. He moved there at age 12 but I think the british public liked him more than the british public like hamilton. Like I said I might be wrong but he doesn't seem to well liked here in the uk..

The fact is I don't think the british public like him that much.i don't think they will celebrate his achievements.i don't even think the british public are proud of him at all. I might be wrong of course.but I can't see him being able to stand shoulder to shoulder. and be liked with the old greats of motor sports that are british.

The harsh reality is.to be a true world champion in any given sport is impossible. The only true way to be a world champion is if you battled against everyone in the world. Hamilton has won races against what 20 people in the same race. The same goes for the the boxing heavyweight champion of the world.there is only 2 of them fighting.there is 7 billion more people who weren't in the fight..
