That's it mate.do a 3yr apprenticeship or 1 week training on a machine.the same pay for both.. The big plus is being payed 8hrs for sitting in the car or cabin when it's raining "rained off" And of course the warm cab in winter is good.

I've been on many jobs where the foreman has asked me to train lads up on dump trucks dozers etc. It good seeing them a few days later being released on there own.usually with a massive grin as they drive past ? I was in a quarry and wouldn't see the foreman down the hole for weeks at a time the lad watching the conveyor belt was looking around the dozer for a few days at break time and asking questions all the time. He was showing keen.so I showed him how to drive it and he was in there maybe 10 mins. Then the foreman came down in his Jeep ? some timing that lol. He

Right I was about to type this out but you beat me to it.. There was 1 paki lad working on the line next to me he was in charge of throwing large lumps of dough into the hopper which would be rolled over the top of the pies then a dye would stamp the lid from that sheet. He would also throw large lumps maybe football size into another hole which was the filling.he would have his sleeves rolled up and his super hairy arms would be in the meat rucking up a big lump to throw in the hopper. It is you are paying for the box and name. When I was riding superbikes and commuting the front right side wheel bearing sitting on the bike would wear faster than the opposite side.because the bike would spend it's life leaning to the left on the side stand and water could get into the right bearing. My mate who also rode bikes needed wheels bearings he phoned the Suzuki dealer £7:99 each they said.and 2 was needed.feck that I told him let's go down the bearing man shop £3:99 for the same bearing made by the same company the numbers and name on the bearing seal was identical. Well if you was any kind of manager you would set up your own company with your millions.. Let me educate you a bit.you do realise that M&S source there food from other food factory's and not there own factory's don't you. And do you realise the only difference between a happy shopper pork pie and an M&S pork pie is the pork meat content. The meat is excately the same.the pork fat is excately the same.and the lard and flour for the pastry is excately the same. Right and if money gets a bit tight for you. Then my advise is to feck off down the corner shop and buy a happy shopper pork pie. Because it's disguised as an M&S pork pie.
