Also seen hugh getting a chicken of the woods mushroom or fungus.weird looking thing on a tree. You eaten any of them arry/south hams..

I've never seen 1 in my life mate to be honest. Yea hugh was with 2 other lads gathering a few bits.it looked about the size of a football. Have you had 1's that big.

I watched hugh picking some big white puff ball type things on 1 of his programmes a while ago some size on them. His mushroom guy is knowledgeable.i seen him on last night's programme putting wood dowels into logs that had some kind of mushroom spores or something on them. Have any of you lads done that. a type of grow your own set up..
